Very sturdy, easy to assemble--my latop is secure
This little laptop mount is perfect for my needs. Great pricepoint, it is sturdy, came with directions that were good enough that I did not need to watch a YouTube video to assemble it, and for the first time in two years, I am not afraid of my laptop falling off of my desk. The previous "mount" consisted of four styrofoam blocks from another shipment that I taped together with duct tape. I placed my laptop on that and was grateful it only fell once. There are little plastic pieces that snap onto the adjustable arm and pole to hold wires in place. They work pretty well (see pics)-if I need additional reinforcement, I'll just use some Velcro strips. My setup is a little messy because I've got a switch for the home workstation and the hub to my laptop with not enough USB ports for all of the peripherals (I've got two printers on the other side of the room that refuse to connect to wifi, so there are even more cords you can't see. For folx who have Bluetooth everything, this mount is a foolproof and secure way to set up a nice little workspace.Definitely recommend and would buy again.

Finally my desktop surface back.
Very sturdy, well made. It arrived promptly and well packaged. Arm swivel may feel a little "stiff" to begin with, but that equals secure. When I position it where I want it, it stays. It moves 180 degrees from where you position the arm holder.I ordered this item because I was looking for an effective document holder I could get up off of my desktop. My desktop is only 24" deep & I work 2 computers & lots of paper. This item not only allows me to lift the paperwork to see it well and maintain good posture, but a sturdy place to rest my keyboard when I need to spread out paperwork for analysis, etc., use the other computer's keyboard or to slide things I am not using at the time under the holder temporarily.I need to read invoices with tiny print into a bookkeeping program. I use a 56' TV as a monitor so it & my laptop are on a separate table and I use a bluetooth keyboard & mouse. I can position the vertical post so it does not interfere with my eyeline to my monitor. My only negative for my use is that where I would normally grab the bottom edge of the tray to push the documents out of the way, it is cut out to allow for venting for the heat of the laptop it is designed to hold. A minor inconvenience, especially since I am using it differently than its intended purpose & for the versatility & sturdiness. I will improvise something to give me a solid strip across to grab & push, a ruler, etc. I am very happy with this item, it has made my working environment better!

Monitor Mount with Laptop Tray Attachment
Having finished mounting two monitors and a TV, I wasn't expecting this to be another monitor mount, but with a laptop tray attachment. This is a very simple mount with a single arm that has a pivot. While the arm can move up and down along the post, I use mine at the bottom so I can still use the keyboard and trackpad. I'd very much like to lower it even more, though that's not doable. The horizontal positioning is easy to do, as is the leveling of the tray (once the screw is tightened). The clamp works, though it seems like it isn't as sturdy as it could be (I'm sure it's plenty sturdy and well-engineered, so it's probably just my imagination).I mainly purchased this mount because it has a Velcro strap that goes around the laptop (which is too long for a 13" MacBook Pro). I'm sure there are other ways to secure a laptop to a tray, though I wanted the convenience of having everything all in one package.I would probably look for a different laptop tray mount if I was looking again, and figure out my own method to secure the laptop to the tray. This one gets the job done.

No Instructions. Excessive extras
Mine came with no instructions, so had to use my intuition to put it together.Make sure each section is tight and facing the correct position before moving on to the next. If loose in earlier steps can impact the end stabilityWhen setup correctly its very stable, and has good range of motionThey give you tons of extra screws that you don’t needI like how there’s a tool holder built into the stand. Slips in while being non-intrusiveCable hooks work well, easily adjustable on the fly if neededThere are 4 padding attachments for the back of the laptop. Wish there was extra for the bottom hook as that’s where most of the weight is pressure towards when fully angled

Sturdier than smaller arms, hold prompter and mirrorless camera without issue
Using this to hold an Elgato Prompter and mirrorless camera. I already had a smaller arm meant for holding a mirrorless camera, but it wasn't sturdy enough to hold both. With this mount I don't have any issues with sagging or wobbling/bouncing. I used a square piece of aluminum plate and some old tv mount stand-offs attached to the VESA mount and attached a tripod head to the plate. Works great and very adjustable. The elbow in the arm itself only bends a little more than 90 degrees, so the extra flexibility of the tripod mount was required for the angle I wanted.

A really, really great product!
Are use my laptop, when I am relaxing in my recliner, which is situated in front of a coffee table. This fabulous mount allows me to set it for a perfect tight end angle, so that I can simply swing it around when I want to use it, And rotate it out-of-the-way when I’m done. I love it and would highly recommend it. I think it would be especially good for a person who has wrist problems or carpal tunnel. This is because you can set the height so that it takes the sort of stresses off your wrists that may otherwise occur. It is very sturdy and solidly constructed. The weakest link is the clamp that holds the main column in place. This is because the piece that fits on top of the surface is plastic, so that when you tighten the clamp, hard, the plastic bends, and this can cause the entire thing to come loose. I alleviated this problem by drilling a small hole through the plastic mount, and putting a small screw in. If this was an expensive coffee table, though, it would’ve taken something more drastic to address this one weakness I found. The many good features, though, heavily outweigh, this one negative. I would highly recommend it, overall.
