Things I like about this chair:It looks very nice. Clearly not real leather, but clean, classic styling and the nailhead trim give it a quality appearance.It is SO easy to assemble. I had it unboxed and fully assembled on my own in about 20 minutes.The fact that it doesn’t look like a recliner, but allows the option to push it back and have a place to rest your feet is a definite plus.Things I don’t like as much:It’s not a great, cozy comfy chair. The seat is firm and stiff, and I’m hoping it softens with use.The push-recline feature is not smooth or easy. It takes some real muscle to push it back.The foot-rest is short. It fits me well, but I’m only 5ft2in. Anyone taller will clearly have their legs/feet hanging off the end.Overall, I feel it meets my needs for the price point and I’m happy with how it looks in my space!

My husband and I have been looking for new chairs for our library room. We purchased two chairs. These chair's are exactly what we wanted and at a great price. I have to agree with some of the reviews, that the chair is uncomfortable, rigid to sit in at first. Don't let that scare you from buying this chair. After just a few days you'll start to notice the chair softening. We've only had the chair's a few days and already they are much more comfortable than the first day we used them. We love these chairs and I'd say they are wonderful chair at a reasonable price.

There are a number of issues I agree with about this chair that other consumers have added in their reviews, BUT, my chair arrived BROKEN....the main wooden support across the bottom of the chair was like balsa wood. The wooden support is hidden with a piece of cloth, so it was not detected until assembled and I sat in it. The whole chair rocked to the left as I sat in it, and I only weigh 115 pounds!!! I thought it was due to the fact that it reclined, but upon further inspection, turning the chair over and investigating, we found the huge defect. There was a HUGE crack in the wooden support on the left side of the chair.....no wonder it rocked. Thank goodness my son is a carpenter and was able to support this defected piece of wood with metal supports, otherwise I would have been out the cost of the chair, as I cannot imagine the process of returning a huge product.The look of the chair is acceptable, as it is faux leather, but sort of uncomfortable to sit in, as the leather seat seems to be over stuffed and the material is tightly covering the seat.I would be leery to suggest anyone purchase this chair with the very huge problem mine arrived with.

Was nervous ordering based on some reviews but so glad I did. It’s wonderful. Not a blemish or issue any where. Sits great not overly firm but firm enough you don’t feel your sinking. I’m 6’ and when fully reclined fits great. It’s extremely comfy. Color and texture is perfect. Very sturdy too. Just overall perfect for my needs.

The seat is rather stiff. Hopefully it breaks in over time. One important thing to note, I ordered two (at same time) and they came on two different days and are two different chairs. One is definitely made of different materials, it’s probably only noticeable if you sit in both but it’s ridiculous that one cannot get a matched pair. I think it’s the foam - one seems more dense than the other. I’m not returning them but I’m not thrilled with them either.

The chair is very comfortable and nice. It is alittle bigger than average furniture, but still fits in. The only bad part was the footrest broke in half internally and would not hold weight. I took it apart, replaced the wood and reassembled. It had a cheap piece of plywood that cracked in the middle. The rest of the chair seems sturdy.

My experience with this recliner was not entirely positive. The main issue I faced was that the chair will not stay reclined, which made it impossible for me to relax and enjoy my leisure time.The center of gravity and lower back position of the chair are extremely temperamental, and even the slightest shift in position will cause it to sit back to a partial recline position. This issue became so frustrating that I found myself constantly adjusting the chair to maintain a reclined position.As someone who values comfort and relaxation, I found this feature to be a major flaw in the design of the Christopher Knight Home Neville PU Push Back Recliner. I would not recommend this chair to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and reliable recliner.In conclusion, while the chair's appearance may be pleasing to the eye, the chair's inability to maintain a reclined position makes it impossible to relax and enjoy leisure time. Therefore, I would not recommend the Christopher Knight Home Neville PU Push Back Recliner.
