Freedom: Remote Collar Training Paperback – December 13, 2013

Wish it gave more step-by-step instructions on how to train my dogs to the e-collars. The stories were interesting, but really was looking for a more useful, in depth training guide. A little disappointed by that.

Helped me learn and understand the basics of e collar training. However, the formatting and lack of proofreading is so bad I will not be moving on to their other books. An example from the end of the book “But my dog is still naughty! minute structured walks minimum” Huh? You mean 5 minutes? 60 minutes? If you’re not going to pay a proofreader at least have a few friends go over it to make sure the critical info is clear.

This book is very short and very basic. It talks about using the remote collar to train basic stuff . I read it all on a lunch break I did not learn much more then I have by watching YouTube videos.It's only worth $5 .

So I mainly bought this book to see how other trainers eliminate the use of a shock collar. But It was a quick read. This book was not great on formatting or flow. It basically taught you the simple approach to negative reinforcement. It never spoke of desensitization, raising difficulty, or eliminating the use of the collar. It was a very basic book lacking certain important details. Good if you've never used a collar before maybe.

Excellent book for those. Who are unfamiliar with this type of training. As I started reading it it sounded like my experience before I found Off-Leash K9 Training. It breaks the idea of e-collar training into sections. Easy read and good information. I definitely recommend it.

This method of training is too often overlooked, and many dogs that would have benefited from it, had their owners used this method, often wind up in rescue because the collar method was not used. This collar type does NOT hurt the dog in any way, rather, it 'wakes them Jo's, when ordinary voice commands may not alone suffice.

This book is terrific. Clear instructions for anyone to follow. The freedom is for both the dog and it's owners . Imagine having the relationship you always wanted with your dog. Being able to involve them in your family's activities. To have walking your dog be a joy and not a dreaded chore. The possibilities and opportunities are endless once your dog is remote collar trained. I look forward to more books by Victoria and Richard Warfel .

Nothing I didn't already know. Disappointing. Not a book I would recommend for anyone who already has a dog and remote collar.

It was a very basic book. It's more like a pamphlet. I expected more for my money. Sent it back for a refund.
