Falling Angels Paperback – 28 Mar. 2018

This is the fourth book from Sean Hogan I have read and I think it's perhaps my favourite, this one or Queens Park to the Elephant. The thing I love so much about this writer is the way he creates and develops his character s and the interwoven relationships they develop throughout the course of the story. Really speaks to me on a deeper level than most other literature. He writes for me in a beautiful way about human nature. There is great integrity and empathy for life in these pages. It reminds me of a modern day of John Steinbeck if Steinbeck was to write about the council estates of London. Absolutely timeless work.

Another great book from Sean Hogan, I was sad to finish reading this book. Loved the Characters who really draw you in. I'm left thinking how and where the end up and would love a sequel to this book. I have read all of Sean's books this has to be my favourite book.

Another gem from Sean Hogan. Was sad to get to the end of this book ... Humour and sadness mixed together, none of the characters are one dimensional and really draw you in. It's just like real life!

Brilliant book, loved each character and the story flowed nicely. Some great humour along with some tragic moments. Would most definitely recommend.

Brilliant. Really enjoyed this story. I love being immersed in a book and I felt such familiarity with the main characters that it felt like I was was there. It's a beautiful journey through some not so beautiful lives, but lives we can all relate too. I loved how the story touches on both sides of addiction, how we perceive it when it's not us and how it can so easily sneak into our lives. All round really enjoyable book...... I'm off to read liar now by the same author. Can't wait.
