I have an annual pumpkin-carving gathering with about a dozen people in my family. We're a creative bunch so these tools were a big hit and enabled everyone to try some new carving techniques this year. The results were awesome! One of the tools broke, but the rest made it through an afternoon of rigorous use in tact. Very clever repackaging pottery tools for pumpkin carving and the price was very reasonable. Good investment.

Great value for he price. I would recommend this for adults or older children. Great quality and easy to use and clean. Comfortable handles and safe for responsible children. They come with a nice carrying case.

I entered a pumpkin carving contest at work and wanted make some pretty tiny, intricate cuts. These tools worked pretty good. They aren't the most sturdy as some of the tools bent and I had to bend them back into place. I was careful after that to not push too hard when using them. All in all, a great set of tools if you are more light-handed in your carving.

These tools are great! There are 11 double sided tools so this is a great bang for your buck. I've read some reviews about the tools breaking. They aren't meant to carve into the pumpkin. They work great with the stencils I have. The plastic tools you get at Halloween just don't get you enough of the detail or texture that these tools can give you for your design. I can really get into my more serious stencils. I've even thought about being able to use this for the summer. I love doing watermelon infused drinks and now I can stencils in some beautiful art for my centerpiece. So excited to start creating and carving.

To start off these are technically pottery tools, which I actually knew and thought it was a good idea for pumpkin carving as well. They came faster than expected which was really nice, but didn’t work as expected. Tried them on some mini pumpkins to add detail and it was not easy to use on the skin of the pumpkin. Wouldn’t break through the skin very easily, which resulted in the tool breaking. The tool would pull out of the handle. Overall it’s still a really cool thing, maybe I just didn’t use them right. Definitely better used on clay though

These tools would be great for clay but NOT PUMPKIN!!! MY goodness they are very weak for Pumpkin carving - we bent and broke so many of them and most tools were not even long enough to get through the pumpkin skin!! Absolute disaster. Stick with the $5 pumpkin carving kit. Thank God I also purchased the "1 X Ultimate Pumpkin Carving Kit" which worked awesome even though we all had to take turns carving since this product failed us. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY FOR CARVING PUMPKINS WITH THIS!

These are easy to store away in the drawer or small box. Easy to handle, low quality tools. Don't recommend

I had purchased these to give to the neices/nephew for their various craft projects but decided to keep them for myself. I have small hands and the barrel size was just right. I have found other uses for these tools other than "pumpkin carving", from the kitchen to my many of my own crafting projects. Don't limit yourself with titles of what things are "supposed" to do, use your imagination and your creativity will expand and all of your tools available will do more than one job or even not the job that was intended for them.
