paintjob doesn't match the picture unfinished poor quality
Zero quality control they wouldn't be able to sell this in a store so online should be no different.Actual paintjob isn't like the picture at all and is very dull and faded away in places others simply aren't painted, there is no highlighting on the figure or if there was that has now faded the weapon is actually opaque plastic nothing like the image whole thing looks really poor. My son has numerous schleich figurines and the quality and detail of the paintjob usually stands out from the crowd with schelich products this thing is simply not up to the same standard. Was intended as xmas gift but its going straight back.Picture won't attach amazon app issues!Further to this the dimensions stated are not correct this isn't 18 cms high its more like 10cm it is rather small in comparison to the other eldrador creatures, even 18cm to the top of the weapon is a bit generous

An absolutely delight for my 5 and 7 year olds
Since my youngest has been old enough to play games, we have played a game called Crabby Crabby (don't look for it - I made it up myself haha.) It's not the most complex - my hand is a crab! Called.... you guessed it, Crabby Crabby. He has always been delighted by this game and when he was old enough he decided that his hand was Baby Crabby Crabby. He even does my Crabby Crabby voice and everything. So when I saw this little gem, I had to have it. He was absolutely amazing at having a real-life Crabby Crabby!I'd also say that these toys are pretty indestructible. My boys destroy most things. All of their friends love to play with these Schleich ones and they're really popular. Will no doubt be adding to their collection at Christmas. They seem expensive, but they're a really good size and very well made.

Not quite as good as I had thought
This was a bit of a test purchase for this line. We love the wild animals and dinosaurs so wanted to try something mythologicalGood point. Looks nice and paint is reasonableBad points. Not as big as you may think. Slightly overpriced compared to other schliech or other brand action figures. £15 may be slightly high for the size. Would imagine it as big as the t-rex at least.Good point. Has some limited articulationAlso it said reduced from around £25. On what planet someone could charge that I know not. 13.99 seems to be the schliech guide price for this

There's always one crap one in a series...
My 5 year old is pretty much obessed with these figures - and was delighted I bought this for him as a treat.I, however, think this is, hands down, worst one in the series. His arms are way waaay too filmsy and loose at the joint, the weapon is too bendly as doesn't fit firmly enough in his flaccid, bony grasp ;) and it's priced the same as figures that are 5 times the volume in plastic!Honestly, this is without a doubt, the naffest one in the series - the other ones are so sturdy, chucky and well designed - this one is just a mandatory 'complete the set' purchase.

WELCOME TO ELDRADOR!
My 5 year old absolutely ADORES the entire Eldrador Monsters series from Schleich. The quality of the 'Kraken' is just brilliant, the paint job, design and details are just excellent. Pretty sturdy too, been in the bath and trips out with no issues - the play value is infinate.Pricy yes, but cheap Schleich ain't.In any case, highly recommended!
