These shoes are very light weight and extremely comfortable.

These boots fit as expected with no break in time required. I loosened the laces, put the boot on, tightened the laces & then zipped them up. Now it just unzip to remove them & vice versa to put them on - easy peasy. I love these boots and they are replacing a pair of Thorogood Dueces (which are great boot too but these are far lighter). There are horizontal pull straps on the back of the boots that are completely unnecessary IMO. I’m a firefighter and they meet our uniform requirements as did the Deuces but these are heads & shoulders more comfortable & waterproof too. Hope this review helps.

the tongue is to thick.you can't draw the top together. It makes the side zipper useless.

These boots are comfortable. They are fairly light. They have good grip, cushion, support, they even seen well made, etc. But the waterproof label needs to be removed. It is blatant false advertisement. These are NOT waterproof by any stretch of the imagination. There are several cloth parts, the tongue, the vents, etc. All of which have zero water resistance. I had the unfortunate opportunity of testing these recently while on a traffic crash. We rolled up and it started down pouring. Literally as soon as the rain started my feet were wet. I ended up miserable because of how fast my feet were drenched. Not only that, once the water was inside, it was like I was constantly stepping in a puddle since the insole retained so much water and there was no way for these to drain.I don't know how these advertise as waterproof, but they are not, not even remotely.

Very comfortable

I am impressed with this product line of Tactical Half Boots. I never heard of this brand until I did some research, searching for a high quality, comfortable line of Tactical Half Boots. For the money, I say this bootis a real value. I'm surprised that it is so affordable, as it could easily sell for $150-$200. Everything about this boot says "Quality". How well it is built, from the quality of the leather, to the stitching, these boots are really nice. The insoles (as with all shoes/boots) are better than most, but still needed to be upgraded, so I put a set of "Superfeet" insoles inside the boot and these are now the most comfortable boots I own. I highly recommend this product. P.S. this was the 2nd pair of Thorogood boots I purchased, as I was so impressed with the first pair, I bought another pair, but a different model. The zippers on these are well built and function flawlessly.

The laces and tongue hurt my feet. Loosened the laces and it made no difference. Won't buy another pair.

They are comfy but just don't hold up they start to deteriorate about 4 months in and i have to get a new pair every 6 months I'm thinking of trying a different brand because this is my 5th pair and all of them do this for me. I wish there was a manufacturer warranty.
