This was perfect for my needs. I didn’t want an app based remote thermometer as I have read of a lot of flaws in operability. The old walky talky tech works fine for me.Great reception, I had my kamado going outside and had full mobility indoors while it smoked away.Accurate, and easy to use. Did take some study to adjust the custom settings for temp. Had to watch a YouTube vid to figure out but at last I did figure out. I did also contact customer service in my moment of frustration and I am please to say they were highly responsive and supportive in spite of me figuring out on my own. A positive signOverall a nice looking easy to use setup. I like the meat probes being bent a bit to work with height limitations. A nice touch.Overall an excellent purchase for the price.

Although the range of the thermometer to the handheld unit is great, the temperature seems to be off. Rare beef is set to 140 degrees and you can't set it lower. I take our steak off at 135 and it's already medium - not even medium rare! I will try a cheaper unit I purchased earlier to see if it is more accurate. My OLD probe was accurate and delivered accurate temps producing perfect steaks. It died after more than 15 years of use. Sad....face!

Got this about a week ago have cooked 1 roast and now cooking another on the grill. It's working great. Alarm goes off when the temp is reached just as it should. I don't hear a constant beep as some have said. So far it's working flawlessly. Just wanted 2 probes. 1 for the meat and 1 for the grill temp. At this time thats all I need and loving it. Would definitely recommend.

For the money it’s a great thermometer and wireless display. Beeps are super loud so you won’t miss hitting your set point :). Accuracy seems to be closer to 2-3 deg off than the factory specs. It temps a few deg high in ice water and a few deg cold in boiling waters (adjusted for my altitude). For the money and ease of use you really can’t go wrong for a hobbiest BBQer.

These are my first set as I recently started smoking meats. Fit the price though, can’t imagine anything better. Love being able to monitor the temps from inside my house and love being able to set alarm thresholds. Would DEFINITELY recommend

Both the receiver and the transmitter were defective out of the box. The transmitter with only read one probe and the receiver continuously beeped as long as it was on.
