The Yeti straw lid doesn't work well when drinking without the straw, while this one works with or without a straw. Also, this one will let you close the opening, part way to reduce flow, or all the way. When closed it's not water tight but it will greatly reduce spills and keep trash from falling in the opening if you're in a dirty area like a shop or outdoors under trees. You'll need to make an effort to clean the sliding part now and then because stuff can get under it, but that's probably unavoidable in any lid with an open/close feature. We liked it so much we bought more for the rest of the family.

This lid is awesome!!! It fits snugly into my Ozark Trail 30oz tumbler. The slider works well and stays where you put it. The straw hole is large enough for any regular size straw to fit and the straws that come with it are great. I like that you get a clear straw and either a pink or blue straw since I have a black tumbler and also a red one. The colors looks good in the black and the clear works perfectly in the red one. I highly recommend this lid set (I should, I am about to order my 3rd set!)

I was upset when I received my order as the straws were not included. I spoke with a representative at Amazon. This had been an add on item and as such I would not be able to get my straws unless I placed another Amazon order of $25.00. I told her that I had already placed several orders and did not need anything else. I again was told that in order to receive the lid and straws I had to place a $25.00 order. I then asked to speak to a supervisor. She was very courteous as was the first person I spoke to. I just didn't understand why I had to purchase additional items when all I wanted was the straws. The supervisor put me on hold and then came back and advised me that their technical dept. was going to have to change the descriptions as the straws did not come with the lid. She was kind and issued a credit for the first order and then reordered the lid with 2 straws at a higher price and gave me an additional credit being that I had to pay a higher price. So much fuss and trouble over a couple of straws! Had it not been for this being a Christmas present I would not have bothered. It took about 45 minutes on the phone for such a small item. Again the two employees I spoke with were courteous and I appreciated their assistance.

I bought this lid mainly because i keep knocking over my RTIC tumbler and getting water everywhere. This lid still lets water out when knocked over but it's not that much. The lid is perfect if you like taking your tumbler in your car and don't want liquids splashing everywhere. The quality of the lid is almost as good as the OEM lid.

I really hate to give this product a 3 because I love it except for it cracked after only 2 weeks for no apparent reason. I have not dropped or washed in dishwasher but the rim is cracked all the way through right in front of the straw opening. It does fit my Yeti and my Ozark Trail 20 oz. cups perfectly and it worked great until it cracked.

Got this lid for my husbands cup for work since he is a mechanic and the lid slides open and closed to it keeps the junk out that floats around in a mechanic shop. The straw he gave to me which I knew he would lol

The top is a perfect fit for my Ozark 30 oz. Tumbler!! And the straws are just the right size; not too short or tall!! I would recommend this to anyone!!
