RykaWomen's Devotion Plus 2 Walking Shoe

It's a struggle to find a proper walking shoe that is both supportive and the right shape. I think more than not, if you trying to find something for "walking" you instead find "workout" or "running" types that don't have support in the right places and can hurt your feet or knees eventually.I used to walk a lot everyday and would need to change my shoes out every 3-4 months and the devotion line has been my go to for comfort and treads that last. I have high arches and thin feet, but I don't need to buy a separate insole for support with these. The treads are taller and widely spaced apart so you don't need to worry about pebbles getting stuck or them wearing away quickly if you drag your feet a bit. There is a slight "bounce" to them that take a bit getting used to, as if they're almost a little soft once your feet lands on the floor/pavement.My current pair has been going on strong for the last 6 months and I'm always going to be on the look out for any sales to make sure I have a backup.

The shoe has a painted design so I am not sure how this will wear. I am hoping this paint doesn't peel and I don't like that it makes the shoe look cheap. The size is good and the fit is good and comfortable. I do not like the pockets for the shoe laces. There are regular holes at the top and bottom for lacing but in between, there are "pockets" and NOT regular shoe lace holes. They are very difficult to tighten or loosen for when putting on the shoe. This is even more difficult for me with my arthritic hands. I am leaving for vacation tomorrow and no time to get a different new pair so I am going to try these but I am concerned they will be hard on my hands when putting on. I gave a 4 rating because the fit is good and they are comfortable. I use my own inserts for inner soles. The inner soles that came with this shoe are very thin and not sturdy.

This is my 3rd pair of Ryka shoes. I can wear a 7.5 or 8 and purchase Size 8 for these shoes. I’ve tried on the 7.5 and they fit, but the size 8 gives more room in the toe box and the overall fit is perfect. I have been wearing these for about 3 weeks, walking a trail hike of a couple of miles almost every day. I am surprised by the negative reviews. My other pair of similar Rykas are about 3 years old and still in great shape, though I have switched out the insole several times as my podiatrist recommends. The only reason I got these is we have a vacation home where we spend summers and I forgot to bring my other pair. I guess everyone is different but to me, these are very comfortable. Long daily walking hikes and no sore feet, no cramped toes. I love them.

Love the look of these shoes! Fit my wide feet great! Only thing I don’t love is the wrinkles in the shoes by my arches…not sure it’s because of the wide design? Otherwise love these shoes

I always take an eight in sneakers and this one I have to get an 8 1/2 my toes touch the top

This is the most money I have ever spent on a pair of shoes. After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance last year and buy them. I was desperate, and always shopped at department stores for shoes. My feet ached from working retail being on my feet 5 hours a day no breaks. Within the first day of working in these shoes my feet felt 1000 times better than in my department store shoes. Now one year later I am about to buy another pair.

These are great shoes, especially for 5howe who have bunions and other feet issues that require a flexible yet wide toe box. These are the third pair I've bought for my mom and absolutely loves them! The last pair was bought two years ago, so the lifetime of them is pretty good. That and they come in a HUGE VARIETY of amazing, gorgeous engaging colors!

This is my third pair of this brand of sneakers.They immediately feel comfortable with no breaking in period and provide great support for walking.I recommended them to my daughter, and if she buys him to because they’re so comfortable

Love this brand of trainer. This is my sixth pair! Definitely the most comfortable footwear to get my daily steps done in. The only criticism i have is that after about 8-12 weeks a hole starts to develop around the big toe area on the top of the shoe, which seems quick forwear & tear.

Now I see why some women buy these shoes on repeat. They really are everything that people say. They fit my foot well since I have a wide forefoot and narrower heel, yay! I bought my normal size 7 and they fit pretty well. If I had the opportunity to try them in person before buying, I would have sized up by a half size just for a little more wiggle room. But I like them and don't plan on returning. The footbed feels like walking on clouds!

Ordered for my wife. She is very happy with the fit and comfort while walking.

I like this model of shoe and was pleased to see they were $23 cheaper than when I bought my last pair two years ago. I thought they were cheaper because there is now a newer model of this shoe available. When I received them it was obvious they were a return. There was a small piece of dried grass stuck in the tread as well as a little dirt and a number of small stones. So much for returns having to be in “new condition”. These were probably cheaper because they were a return; the price is now back up to $104. I’m keeping the shoes because this model can be a little hard to find, the inside of the shoes was clean and the cushioning in them felt new. My gripe is with Amazon not indicating that the shoes were a return and that’s why they were cheaper. I wasn’t given a chance to make an informed decision on whether or not I wanted to purchase a returned item.

I wore these on an overseas trip because they reviewed well for people with feet problems. They were light and comfortable and were great for the first week but then I was in total pain. Now that might just be me and not the shoe however they didnt alleviate the pain I was experiencing
