PentelR.S.V.P. RT New Retractable Ballpoint Pen, Medium Line, Blue Ink, 4 Pack (BK93BP4C)

These are my favorite pens. They write very smoothly and they don't bleed onto the back of a page.

I usually love R.S.V.P. pens. Never had one right anything but perfect. Until these… they are hard to write, not smooth, the ink is very light and hit and miss. I even tried the ol heat the tip with a lighter but that only made things worse. I tried all four pens in the pack and they are all trash and that where they went… the trash. Can’t return them because of heating up the tip… shame on Pentel for putting these out…

Clean, steady, dependable ink delivery with a comfortable grip. I don't care for gel pens, so this is my go-to pen @ the office. I can only find the retractables on amazon.com.

These arrived in tip-top shape. They write very well! Don't ned much "warm-up," a very good thing for those of us who have ben though the mill with ball point pens. Quality of writing experience is goodl and reliable. Why not five stars? I've purchased ball points that do write quite a bit better, for about the same price. Not recently, though. The reliability is impressive. I was on the phone and had to jot down information quickly, at various intervals in the conversation. You don't want a pen that hiccups! Another good thing is that the clear plastic housing allows monitoring of the ink level, so if the pen isn't writing well, you can see if it's low on gas, so to speak.

These are the best pens. I teach and stress that first impressions count and to be proud of what you hand in. Meanwhile, I was grading papers with pens that blotched and streaked, it was embarressing. These pens write smoothly and don't leave blotches or streaks behind and the color is not that faint pink red; but a true red. I also love the purple ones!

Great pens! The medium tip still seems a bit more 'sharp' than the medium tip on the non-retractable version. But writes just as well. The packaging on the pens was quite torn up and old looking but they weren't damaged on the inside.

This pen writes eerily with an extremely light ink!! I couldn't figure out how the manufacturer designed a pen that you could barely write unreadable text!!!!I bet you would waste your cash in this piece of crap!

I thought that the ink would be a bit brighter...and it isn't. Sigh...oh well.
