Corkor Men's Bifold Wallet, Slim

I bought my second of this exact wallet, after using the previous one for five years. The cork fabric finally started coming apart and the card slots ripped on the side so that the cards would easily fall out. But the wallet served me really well in that time, and I think five years is a pretty good length of time for an inexpensive wallet so I got another. Also I did tend to put multiple cards in a slot, so if you stick to just one maybe you won't have that ripping issue I had, though you might still get the exterior fabric separating and looking ugly.As for the new wallet, it looks to me like they've improved the quality since my last one. It feels really soft and smooth and just looks a bit nicer. This is a great wallet for holding all your cards, like a traditional wallet. I have also been trying out a different minimalist wallet, and this one now looks huge in comparison but the minimalist one can't hold all my cards which means I have to remember to take the ones I need before I go somewhere. Still not sure which one I will end up using most of the time, but definitely recommend this one if you are not looking to go the minimalist route.

Just bought my second one of these, to replace one I’d been using for about five years. It lasted way better, and looked good for longer, than any leather wallet I’ve had. I have the kind of bulging wallet most dads do, full of insurance cards and IDs. They stayed secure and were easy to get in and out.The points of wear were pretty much like those on a leather wallet. Actually, while I was conscious of the novelty of a cork wallet for the first few days, I forgot about it pretty quickly, and no one ever noticed anything unusual about it. The only difference was that it never got that smooth slipperiness you get after a while with leather, which I liked - old leather wallets tend to slip out of your pocket.What finally gave out was the stitching along one of the credit card slots. That’s probably the weakest point of the design, since the cork (which is laid over a thin cloth) tears a little more easily than leather. But this was after several years of heavy use. It lasted much longer than I had expected.Good leather is expensive and thick. A full grain leather wallet will last longer than this one, but it will cost five times as much, and it will be less comfortable in your pocket. I’d recommend this over any leather wallet in this price range.

The craftsmanship is superb. The size is generous compared to some other wallets I've owned in the past. There is/was a sheen in the "holes" portion of the cork that I don't see in company photos. Wasn't a fan at first. Either I'm growing accustomed to it, the sheen is dissipating over time, or both, but it doesn't bother me anymore, and again, the quality is such that I am very pleased with my purchase.

I just got this wallet yesterday and so far will give it four stars. The only reason I'm taking a star away is because there's a weird patch on the front of the wallet. Yes I know that cork is patchy that way, but the back of the wallet looks more like those in the pics. The back looks so much better to me that I briefly considered using the wallet 'backward', but decided against it. Yes I know that each piece of cork is unique, but the patch on the front looks really different from the rest of the cork and stands out a bit too much for my taste. Other than that, the wallet fits comfortably in my back pocket and is so unbelievably soft. I've never felt anything quite like this. I think you really have to feel this wallet in your hands to appreciate it. All of my cards fit the slots perfectly. Today I set the wallet down on the counter at a local drug store while paying and the cashier just sort of stared at it. She didn't say anything, but it definitely caught her eye. It was probably the color, which is incredibly rich. But that patch on the front just keeps bothering me. You don't see that kind of thing in the photos they use to advertise the wallet here on Amazon. Anyway, I will update this review over time as I see how the wallet holds up and ages.

Looks great and sturdy. Nice wallet

I have several Vegan and cruelty free people to buy Christmas gifts for. This is a perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for man. Of course I will not be giving this out until Christmas, but it is a very nice looking wallet, and exactly what I needed for him.

Over the past year, literally, I have tried at least 10 different wallets in my pursuit of happiness. They ranged in price from $15 to almost $500.After evaluating everything, sans RFID protection, this wallet is the best for me. The size, configuration, ease of use for cash, as well as the cork material are all simply sublime.The price point is so good that even if it only lasts one year, then I will be happy, but I anticipate many more years than that.Try it....You'll like it!

Prodotto bellissimo, leggero, contenuto nelle dimensioni rispetto ai portafoglio tradizionali. Sì presenta solido e ben confezionato. Se anche la tenuta nel tempo fosse leggermente inferiore è sughero! e costa meno di portafogli uguali per qualità e dettagli ed è vegan!

The wallet arrived as described. At first sight it looks really nice and feels also good. It is still to early to see if the material is actually similar to the long-lasting quality similar to leather that the company claims.I bought this product because I was looking for a sustainable product. Although is made of cork, it has a complete layer of plastic underneath. Actually that was my big concern, I was trying to find out how was the material composition (% of cork of the total wallet) but couldn't find the info, and now I see that is probably 50% cork 50% plastic.Its began, right, but not really a sustainable product in my opinion. Therefore the 4 starts. If you are ok with the plastic, it won't bother you.
