Leawell TDP Far Infrared Mineral Heat Lamp with Remote Control LY-607A1

I bought this to use in my massage practice as a replacement for an older model. The extendion arm is too short for my application.HOWEVER, it is perfectly suited for home use. I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship and the safety features. It is ideal for use while sitting in a recliner. Use to treat a knee or shoulder injury, abdominal cramps, foot/ankle/wrist, you name it. Even if you just want to use it as a personal heater so you can reduce the temperature on the thermostat, it is great for that as well.

The media could not be loaded.  Works well, it takes 8 minutes to get to operating temperature. It works very well for my knee pain. Remote control allows me to control the switch when I lie on the sofa. It is convenient. But the lamp is little bit heavy. Overall quality is excellent. I recommended!

This is my second infrared heat lamp and this one does not have a "red" lamp so no red light when using the lamp.The package came really solid. It only takes a few minutes to assemble the lamps together. Adjusting the lower arm is not that hard, but to adjust the angle of the head you will need to use the included wrench to tighten the joint. When assembled, the whole lamp is heavy and solid. There is very little chance the lamp will tip over.Unlike the red light bulb lamp, this infrared heat lamp will take close to 10 minutes before you can feel the heat on high setting. I never used the low setting since I don't feel much unless the lamp is very close. So even when the timer is on 30 minutes the actual heat session is probably only 20 minutes or less. During the first weeks of using the lamp there is a very strong chemical smell coming from the lamp so I had to have the windows open with fans on to draw out the smell. The smell is not as noticeable after the second week.I do feel some relief on the should muscle pain, but it does not work well along. I find it working really good if I use with herbal cream to sooth the discomfort.Overall I like this Infrared heat lamp. It is one of few things I use regularly to enhance my living comfort.
