I prefer the geisha set. It has a base top and finishing oil

Q: how long does it stay on?

2 to 3 weeks. I only use this brand or opi shellac. Orly fx is awesome! If you have a hard time having shellac on... you may need to purchase a primer.

Q: Are the orly gel polish brushes widebor skinny?

Orly gel has skinny brush, just like their regular polish.

Q: Do you have to use a primer and top coat as well?

I normally do but I dont think this product has one. My nails are so soft I would try almost anything to keep nails of any length.
