Great for use as a Potty Watch!
We were looking for a way to help remind our child to use the bathroom throughout the day while at school. This fitbit - priced at $50 is a bit more expensive than other "potty watches" but you can set up to 8 timers throughout the day - varying by day (different schedule say M-W-F) with either a sounded alarm or silent vibration. This thing worked OUTSTANDING.Not only is it 100% waterproof- but the battery life of 1.5-2 weeks is also spectacular. Every $20-$30 option we could find for a potty watch seemed to fall short in quality or functionality. The wristband (minions) seems a little flimsy and expect it to fail within about 6 months- but otherwise if we can get 1 good solid year out of this device I will call it a win.My child also really likes the step count, and I find the sleep tracking to be extremely interesting and insightful! All in all a very good well made product for a child's entry fitbit as well use for steps, sleep tracking, and a potty watch reminder. I do recommend!

Terrible Device-Terrible Customer Service
Do not buy this device! It was very hard to sync it with my daughter's google account, and it has to be synced with a supervised google account in order to work. I finally got it to work after weeks of trying. She was very upset waiting because she had purchased it with her own money. Later, I had to replace the device she was syncing to, and it stopped working. We had to do a factory reset and haven't been able to get it working again. Contacted fitbit a month ago - spent an hour on the phone. The woman finally said she'd follow up via email. I've had no response since then. It is completely unusable without syncing to the app. I've sent screenshots of the entire setup process I went through, including the final error message. No response from fitbit other than asking me 2 weeks ago if my issue was resolved. I said no and that I was still waiting for resolution. I've heard nothing since. I will never purchase another fitbit. DO NOT BUY!!

My Child Loves Their Fitbit: Worth the $$
My mother and I have Fitbits. My daughter who was 4 at the time became very interested in having her own. My mother then tried purchasing other step trackers for children. Unfortunately they were not as durable or size friendly. They broke easily or began to malfunction. Finally I bit the bullet and got the Fitbit for her. I love having our info together on the same app. As an educator, this has helped my child learn to read large numbers in the thousands and ten-thousands. I am not exaggerating when I say that she can read large numbers better than some of my 6th grade math students. My daughter finds the Minions amusing, and gets a kick out of the Fitbit saying, "Feed me". Not only do we have a friendly competition going on amongst our family, but my daughter is also in competition with her Kindergarten teacher who also has a step tracker. A couple of her classmates became interested to the point where they convinced their parents to purchase step trackers as well.My daughter's favorite feature is the water lock. She can use this when she goes to swim practice or when she's in the shower. In hindsight the Fitbit should've been the first purchase. I would tell anyone, just spend the extra$ and go with Fitbit. It has been more than worth it.

My kids are more motivated to move with this
Overall, my kids are more motivated to move towards their goals with their Ace 3s.One issue with the app though. I have 2 kids both have Ace 3s. There isn't a dashboard on the app that I can watch both their steps and whether they've reached their hourly goals. I have to do Family -> Find Kid 1 -> Switch to Child View to see the first kid's stats, then Family -> Switch to Parent View -> Enter password -> Family -> Find Kid 2 -> Switch to Child View to see the second kid's stats. Pretty cumbersome to use.

My son loves it!
My son 10 year old loves this, and we loved that it was a few bucks cheaper than other FitBit Ace 3 versions. He loves tracking his steps and activity. He recently went to his first sleep away camp, and we forgot to charge this the night before. It was at 47% when we dropped him off Sunday afternoon, and it was still running when I picked him up Saturday morning! Battery life is amazing! (When he went to camp he had only owned it for about 2 months, so it's still relatively new. My nephew used to have one, and I know that the battery life was about 2 or 2.5 years.)

Perfect size for my 5 year old wrist
My 5 year old has been asking for a watch to count her steps. So many options are so big for a young child. This is the perfect size and my kiddo LOVES it.
