Unfortunately, this will be my first less than stellar product rating. I'll start by saying that when mine works properly, it's pretty damn cool and very useful in many situations.However, the one I received has a short of some kind. When I move the On switch on bottom, it doesn't fully "connect" and will cause the lights on the device to flicker, and the arc wont light. I get it to work eventually, by trying to manipulate the button more, but a pain none the less.I would have tried to return it, but between working at a Hospital, and living in S. FL with the hurricane coming, it hasn't been high priority.P.SThe box it comes in is pretty nice.Later EDIT: This company reached out to me, and sent a new lighter. Great customer service.

This is an update review. The first lighter I received did not continue to work after 30 days. I only had to send one email explaining my problem to Healthy Packers . The same day that I sent it, I received a response from them apologizing for my problem along with a code to receive a new lighter. No questions asked. I received my new lighter within a few days. There service was impeccable.Once again I am very pleased with the lighter. I live near the ocean and there is a constant breeze. I no longer have to put my back to the wind or cup my hands around my lighter to light my cigarette. I just pull out my lighter, light my cigarette and put the lighter back into my pocket. On a few occasions the wind was much stronger than a breeze and the lighter worked perfectly. I love this lighter and the people that sold it to me. With Christmas coming up if you have smoker or a camper on your gift list, this is a perfect gift and they will love it. And I strongly recommend buying it from Healthy Packers. They are a class act.

Item arrived early, was packed very well. Lighter worked as advertised, dual arc streams, will light a cigarette, just hold it there a second or so. Have not tried it in the wind yet. Packed in a nice box, could be sent as a gift. USB charge cord is VERY short, wish it was a little bit longer. Cord is 6 inches NOT including the plugs on each end, which are regular 2.0 USB and mini-USB. Have used it a few times so far, works well as in no misfires, streams stay on, etc. I got the gold leaf version, very elegant. about a quarter inch shorter than a regular bic, and about 1.5 times as wide, and about the same width. Very compact. Seller emailed me afterwards ensuring product was satisfactory, and asking for a review, which I will do.

It turns out that these products emit a hypersonic noise whenever they are ignited. Not in the human hearing range but definetely in a dogs hearing range. Spent several days testing this. The sound is painful to dogs and they run from it. It this is a known issue, it should have been disclosed. If not known it needs to be fully tested and corrected. This device is unusable by pet owners. The product does seem to work well except for this. The lighter arrived in the mail earlier this week--it was sleek, well-packaged, and a great improvement from other long-stemmed candle lighters I had own before.Then, out of nowhere, it stopped working. I've tried charging it, letting it sit for hours without touching it, nothing. At best, I get a half-a-second of a spark before it dies again. I'm very disappointed.

Ok so I saw this lighter and I thought it was a very cool concept so I decided to buy it for my self. When it arrived it came in a very nice box. In the inside was a thank you note, charger cable, and the lighter itself. I was blown away by the color right away. There was no scratches or fingerprints! When I first turned on the lighter it worked perfectly! I was surprised that it came with a little charge but if you plug it in for 10 minutes you are good to go! I lit a few fires and fireworks and was so amazed at how fast it made things catch flame! Love this lighter! Charge indicator light doesn't work (cost a star), but it charges fine and each charge lasts a long time. Opening for cigarette is narrow, but I smoke super slims so not an issue for me. Totally wind proof, exactly what I'd hoped for. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

Awesome lighter, best thing since sliced bread. Never have to worry about filling with fluid and having it leak in your pocket. Simple to charge with USB.

This is my second Windproof lighter. I can not recommend this enough, if you are a smoker you MUST buy one. To power up the lighter you will need to use the micro USB and a full charge will last days of lighting. The lighter will work in the wildest of winds without having to hide and take cover to light your cigarette.The lighter is well made and feels heavy in the hand which shows the quality of the product. I went for the matt Blue one and the colour is vibrant. It comes with a free USB charging cable in the box. This item would make a perfect gift as is well presented in the box.

Overall works great so far. Only issue I have is that the button is easily pressed when placed in the pocket. This wouldn't be an issue if the element wasn't triggered when the lid was closed, but it does. Would be great if future models could have a function which disables the element when the lid is closed.

Under pressure again from the wife to buy another one of these gizmos for her friend of course similar pressure was applied - a really nice cream chocolate cake and the when it arrived I got a lovely big fat kiss from the wife's friend - good job it was a woman and not a man!!!So the review for this product is it looks nice, you don't need any gas, it will make you look amazing to your partner and help keep the peace -and you get a nice big fat kiss from a woman who will be your friend for life...

Bought as a birthday present for my daughter and she is really pleased with it. It seems good and `solid` and will, hopefully, give her plenty of use. I must say it has made me rather tempted to get one for myself.

this is a great product i would recommend to anyone the only problem i have is the top part that swings open wobbles side to side not a lot but just enough to make noise when you move it other than that it is great and comes as you see in the pictures.
