They are solid built and comfortable except one main glaring issue. I have the top boot pretty loose and still the zip up flap on inside of the boot pushes into my leg so hard after 1 night use I still have pain and bruising a week latee.I'm not sure how loose the top boot should be but it literally looks like I don't even have it tied up it's so loose it looks unprofessional and shabby. I have tried adjusting the flap inside the boot in different ways just don't seem to work well for me. This is the first zip up I've had issues with however this is the first waterproof zip up I've tried.The boot is built well though and is roomy inside with additional room available removing their internal inserts. The footbed is comfortable and I have plantar fasciitis and it did not flare up when wearing these boots so that is a good thing. Great tread on them and appears well made and assembled.

I'v now had my boots for almost a year and can now review them properly. I have used them casually now in Toronto Canada every day regardless of weather and these boots feel like there actively taking care of me. The foam in the sole is very springy and took a little bit of time getting used to. Some people may not like this but I really enjoy it. From fall 15 deg temps to now winter -10 they are really comfortable. As someone who has been a laborer all his life I would not think twice about wearing these either indoors or outside all day. I love my boots and highly recommend them . PS I wear a 10 1/2 and the 10 1/2 size I ordered fit perfectly.

J'adore mes bottes, elles ont un super bon soutien. Les bottes sont assez larges pour recevoir mes orthèses. J'ai des fasciite plantaire et ce sont les seuls bottes qui me font du bien. Si vous les entretenez vous les aurai pour longtemps.

Combat boots have a reputation for being stiff and needing a lot of breaking in, but I'm delighted to report that these fit my feet perfectly and comfortably from day one, no break-in period needed. The side-zip is great for quickly getting in and out of them, and they're comfortable enough for all-day wear in my paramedic role. I could not recommend them more highly, but of course your feet are not my feet, and your mileage may vary.

Boots size as advertised and fits perfectly. No breaking in period for me but may differ with others. Great boots for the price. Just wondering why they aren't more popular. Anyways, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and will definitely buy it again. 5 stars!!
