The handles are solid and durable. the added wraparound cord is a nice textural touch, and it makes them stand out, which is really good for Wrangler Unlimiteds where the interior lighting is, well, limited. The front handles are the wrap-around/velcro construction typical of these types of grab handles except with the textured paracord grip instead of a plastic handle. That's a definite improvement. (Not to mention, it just vibes better with my Jeep. The rear handles bypass the screwbolt problem of my JKU and instead fits around the metal bars in the front seat's headrests.For the JKs, it's a little tricky removing the headrest, but all you need to do is depress both buttons on the headrest (I used a butter knife for the narrower button). Once both buttons were depressed, the headrest popped out pretty easily. I was a little worried that removing the headrest would take some creative maneuvering, but I was wrong. It worked easily, and I finished installing the handles in less than a minute.I really like the handles in the back. They are more direct for entering the Jeep. Pulling yourself in and up is better than simply up for the narrow door entry to the back seat.One last note is that I ran into a little trouble with shipping. The company was easy to work with and quickly sent me out a new set of handles. That is one of the best customer service experiences I've had with a company through the Amazon website. Based on all this, i cannot recommend the handles enough.
