MILK AND HONEY Bay Clove Blood Orange Deodorant, 2.5 OZ

I've been using this for about a month now, and I absolutely love it. I've tried at least half a dozen other natural deodorants in recent years (Jasön, Burt's Bees, Tom's, Nourish Organic, salt crystal…), but haven't been impressed by any of them. This is the first one that's not only long-lasting but also works well as an antiperspirant—it won't keep your armpits dry if you're sweating from every other pore in your body, such as on a hot humid day or during a strenuous workout, but under ordinary circumstances it does a great job—far better than both other natural options and any drugstore name-brand antiperspirant I've ever tried. It also has a fantastic scent, and one application easily keeps me smelling great for at least two days. It has a consistency similar to body butter, but with a drier texture from the baking soda. And a month's use hasn't made much of a dent in the little jar (see photo—the Amazon uploader keeps turning it upside down for some reason); it looks like it will last for many more months. I'm sold!*update August 28, 2017: I'm back for a second jar; the first one lasted 16 months, used about 3x per week on average. I've found that using it too often does irritate my skin (more on one side than the other, oddly enough) and causes itchy red blotches in the underarm creases where the skin rubs against itself the most if used daily. Cutting down on both amount and frequency largely alleviated the issue; in the summer months when more frequent use is needed I occasionally use a different product in between applications of this one, to prevent irritation. I still give it five stars anyway, as it gets the job done better than any other natural deodorants I've used. I've also tried my sister's vanilla & coconut version of this product and, although that scent is great as well, for me the bay clove and blood orange formula is more effective and longer-lasting.

Sad, I was really looking forward to a natural deodorant that wouldn't give me a rash in my underarm area. It smells nice, it's easy to apply but just like the rest that contain baking soda, probably too much, it causes a rash. Second day of using it. There is one that I've tried that works without a rash called Piper Wei, it was good but towards the end, the constancy of the product changed and I was thinking of trying something new. I'll have to return this.

This product is very good and delivers what it promises. However, after about 6 weeks, I developed a rash under both arms that broke the skin. I immediately stopped using it and switched to a previous deodorant I had used until the rash cleared and my skin healed. I am unsure if I will give this deodorant another try...

Stung and irritated my underarms

Good effective deodorant and I liked the smell. I found that it was also effective for multiple days without re-application.

The deodorant looks like a solid oil but it melts quite quickly on my fingers. It feels grainy but once you run it on it disappears into my skin. The scent is quite strong initially but fades quickly. It works fantastically! I stay dry all day even when I'm doing stuff that makes me warm my pits stay dry. It washes off easily and doesn't leave that weird sticky film that regular deodorant leaves behind. Doesn't stain my clothes and the smell doesn't linger on my hands. I'm allergic to a ton of natural and chemical products. Zero problems with this product.

Clove smell was too strong for me, it gave me a migraine. I love the coconut vanilla.

The scent Bay Clove & blood orange is very strong the cloves are dominant over the blood orange. It smells like when you pass by a botany(not pleasant to my sense of smell). Besides that it does last the whole day and scent does get light. But if your more into sweet feminine smell like me this scent is not for you. Texture is very soft it melts on your skin good. It is a good amount of deodorant so it will last you a good amount of months.
