yes the quadlock is more secure and fancy but i prefer my mous cover and having to change phone case everytime. you wanna ride the bike gets old very quick...nice and secure.. have them on all the bikes and don't have to worry about when we upgrade phones.you can remove the phone attachment if worried about leaving it on the bike... otherwise when i leave the quadlock on and worry someone will steal it.. this is screwed on and secure.

Es gibt eine große Zahl an vermeintlichen Lösungen, um ein Smartphone an einem Fahrradlenker sicher und praktisch zu befestigen. Die wenigsten halten, was der Hersteller verspricht. Meist wackelt das Smartphone mehr oder weniger instabil vor sich hin, nicht selten verabschiedet sich das Smartphone oder gleich die ganze Halterung relativ schnell, spätestens wenn es mal über einen Feldweg oder anderen unebenen Untergrund geht. Anders die Halterung von Thule. Extrem stabil hält sie sich am Lenker, und das Smartphone wird von den Gummi-gemantelten Klammern sicher gehalten und ist zusätzlich durch das Klemmgummi umgeben. Die Halterung ist äußerst massiv und langlebig gefertigt. Sehr praktisch ist die Möglichkeit, das Smartphone ganz simpel zu drehen, so dass sowohl Längs- als auch Quer-Orientierung möglich sind. Als nettes Extra lässt sich die Smartphone-Klammer per Knopfdruck abnehmen. Wenn die ganze Halterung dann am Lenker nach vorn gedreht wird, lässt sich z.B. eine Thule-Tasche an demselben Adapter befestigen. Insgesamt ein absolut gelungenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und eine uneingeschränkt empfehlenswerte Halterung.

The mount was larger than I had expected but after installing and using it I think it is well built and secures my phone in place confidently, especially at this price point. The alternative was a quadlock but that would require a new case every time you switch phones and at more than double the price of this mount. On the same token, this mount is probably heavier than a quadlock so if weight is very important to you, I would avoid this mount.If you have a full screen phone it as I do it might be annoying for you as the edges will be blocked by the rubber securing apparatus.While riding even on rough terrain or over pot holes, the mount stays in place as you would expect which can’t be said by some of the cheaper mounts on Amazon.One thing that was slightly confusing was the instructions, they weren’t the most straight forward but by no means is it difficult.
