Bought July 2021...charge controller on board failed Nov 2021. Contacted Tech Support and ran all their tests and proved the charge controller was not working. Sent videos. Load tested. Everything they ask for and all they do is keep responding that it should be fine. Honestly, the Tech support appears to be outsourced to someone who is reading from a script and has no actual clue as to how anything works.Just like a previous reviewer stated, their board was faulty right out of the box and it took over three weeks for him to convince Ghost to send out a replacement. Their customer service is horrible. It seems like their full intent is to completely enrage the customer so that they not only never buy another product again, but they go out of their way to tell everybody they can what an awful company Ghost Controls is. Well they succeeded.

Do not recommend! Buyer beware! Contacted customer service and they will not take their faulty product back or offer assistance after the 30 day window. Cross your fingers it works. Waste of money.

Best money ever spent. Works great and even worked well in very frigid weather. Very happy with this purchase.

I LOVE this. I'm a woman in my 50s, and I was able to install this myself. My gate is a wooden ranch-style one that PUSHES to open, which is not the norm. But the only thing I needed besides the pvc and the other stated accessories (push-to-open brackets, batteries, premium remotes and zombie lock) was bolts and nuts to use in place of the U-brackets provided for mounting the Positive Stop Plate (included). I bought the SOLAR-powered dual gate opener. I had a few issues with the mounting of this, but they were my own fault. After I got everything finally mounted correctly, this thing worked like a dream. I really love this opener, and I recommend it to anyone who needs/wants a gate opener. I am disabled, and this means I do not have to get in and out of my car 4 times just to exit my property. I am thrilled! UPDATE: My wooden gates swelled after heavy rain a month ago, and they dragged on the ground. The gate would not open on its own. I decided to swap the wooden gates for metal tube gates. When I mounted these openers on the tube gates and tried to set the 'extended limits', the first controller refused to move..it was indicating that it was not receiving power. I decided the problem is within the first controller itself, as the second arm is working normally. I have tried to contact Ghost Controls via toll-free number many times without success. After hanging on hold for 45 minutes, I get disconnected. This is why I have taken 2 stars away from my initial review. I will update if/when I ever speak to someone at Ghost Controls who can resolve this.
