What a beautiful metalic gold bottle! It just entices you to take a capsule. I have enjoyed the benefits of biotin for years because it is a B vitamin and a coenzyme also known as Vitamin K. Biotin is necessary in dupporting the health of the skin, digestive tract, nerves, and metabolism. With hypothyroidism, I am need of support in all those areas. Research shows that in combination with chromium, biotin improves blood sugar. Even by itself, it assists in insulin regulation. This is the best formula of Biotin that I've ever seen since it not only contains 10,000 mcg of Biotin with each 2 capsule serving but has so many other ingredients and supplements that are good for your well-being such as calcium, folic acid, magnesium, manganese, phoshorus, Vitamins A, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, D3, E, and Zinc. I must disclose that I received a discount on my purchase of these vitamins.I am in my 50's and have never been able to grow my hair very long. I always tell people that I have bad hair. I actually started saying that after I overheard my daughter telling her oldest daughter after she was born. "Don't have hair like grandma's. She has bad hair."I have tried almost every type and brand of shampoo, conditioner, vitamins, etc. From ones dermatologists recommend, hair salons, and friends recommend. So, I decided to try these vitamins too. I even showed them to my doctor and I was told that if they don't help, nothing will. The capsules are big so I had to take 1 at a time instead of both. But that's very minor problem as long as it works. I have been taking this for a little over one week. My hair looks slightly longer. . FYI, my hair grows about 2" a year. Yes, it just doesn't grow like normal people and that's why I have been taking biotin.This one also has other essential vitamins such as calcium, folic acid, magnesium, and vitamin a, b, c...I would definitely order a new bottle when I'm done with the current one!
