Box spring itself is really excellent. The only issue I had was that I expected the weight listed to be around 35lbs. It was much heavier than that - so getting it upstairs alone was a bit painful.Just something to be aware of...if you are the only one trying to get it to a second floor; also initially unfolding is tuff in a small room. Again, once I got it in place and have slept on it for a few days, I am very happy with the mattress itself.

I am excited, I used the metal box spring as a platform bed, my mattress is 16" and a regular platform bed would had made the bed too high. My bedroom is small so I wanted the bed not too high up and take up space. I love it, I brought it down a few steps and took it out and just unfolded the box spring, took the covers out and placed it on the floor. This was a great investment and unique idea of a folded box spring, no installations or hassel. I am 63 years old and the weight was not a problem. If you looking for an idea to keep your bed not too high, I recommend this box spring. I really love it!

Don’t waste your time and money getting another one, this is the one! Just open the box, unfold and that’s it! Arrived next day, it has really good quality!

Purchased to go with new bedroom furniture, fit Q size bed frame perfectly. Literally the hardest part was unboxing this, once we did that, simply unfolded, zipped up the cover and laid on the bed frame. So far, worth the money. Delivery was fast too, ordered on Fri and had it by Sunday morning.

This product worked out perfect for my elderly Father. The regular box spring was just too high for him, with his aging body. He loves his new bed!

I've waited over 3 months before writing this review. We purchased an expensive 18 inch mattress from a local retail store almost two years ago and bought the matching 4 inch bed foundation to fit our existing sleigh bed. While I loved the comfort of the new mattress, I was really bothered by the noise it made every time my husband or I would move.... then to add to my disappointment, after about a year, it felt like the mattress was sagging in the center, despite replacing the cross bed rail supports on on our sleigh bed.... I did some research and found that our foundation actually had box board on top!!!! (For a mattress that cost $3000, the foundation that was sold with it did not meet the quality of the mattress. The wood construction was flimsy as well). Then I found the zinus foundation online, read through the reviews and ordered with reserved expectations. I was very happy and relieved, however! This foundation is of the highest quality- very solidly built, the packaging and workmanship are amazing, and I know it will surpass the life of my expensive mattress. The sagging of our mattress is no longer there (confirming that it was our crappy foundation), and best of all- absolutely no noise! Now, I am finally loving the mattress that was purchased at a brick and mortar and not regretting having spent so much on it! This foundation would also be perfect if we ever decided to move, as compared to a traditional box spring. It folds in half and is very compact. Highly recommended.

The box in which the mattress was delivered was very compact and easily fit up my narrow staircase. It was easy to unbox and set up with two people. Major upgrade from the wooden slats I was previously sleeping on. 5 stars!

Excellent and exactly what I was looking for. I needed a very low profile bed frame because I purchased a new bed ( headboard and footboard) . Came across this one and seen it had good reviews. Super easy to assemble ( literally unfold it) and its ready. Also...no noise at all!! I was worried it would mix badly with my new metal bed but it's completely noise free unlike my old wooden bed frame.

I purchased this low profile box spring for my 5-year-old. I didn’t want a tall box spring for safety concerns, and so that she could get up and down herself with ease. I opted for this one (instead of the box spring in a box that you have to build) for convenience and paid the extra money. I must say, worth every extra penny that we didn’t have to build this. It was easy to flip open and stick in the bed frame. It fit, and does its job perfectly so far!
