Gift for wife
This was a gift for my wife, who is a teacher/librarian/book lover. She is so thrilled. The bookends are very nice looking, not too heavy and not too light, and work just right. And a very fair price. Highly recommend for the book-worm in your life.

Super cute, but definitely more for decoration vs. function
These are super cute to add to the bookshelf for decoration, but not really heavy enough to use as a proper book end for larger or heavier books. Still happy with the purchase and would recommend as a cute addition to any library.

Basically for looks. Cute, but not real sturdy.
They are so cute in my sons nursery. I bought them specifically to go along with his Peter Rabbit book collection. They are very cute, but work best with books that basically hold themselves up.
