MISTIC COOL Back Seat Dog Extender and Car Storage Prevents Your Dog from Falling Off The Backseat When Driving

We have two 50 lb. dogs and one of them just can’t seem to stay on the seat despite his doggie seatbelt being on. He kept falling into the floorboard (I swear my husband does not drive like a maniac). We got this and have it situated on the side he rides on and it works beautifully. The dog lays across the seat and this box. It makes the seat way more roomy for him and no more falling! The extra storage is a nice bonus too. We stuck some extra toys, water bowls, and the beach leashes in there with room to spare.

Exactly what I was looking for.Fits perfectly and the quality is excellent. It is a permanent fixture in the car as Tilly our Tibetan Terrier loves it.

Very disappointed that this was too big for our Camry Hybrid. My husband & I are both tall - I'm sure that's a factor in the space available for the seat extender to fit. The extender is very sturdy, easy to put together & would provide a lot of storage space. Since its so sturdy, I couldn't squish it down to try & fit it in the 8" gap between the front & back seats. Will look for a different size for our senior dogs.

We used this for a road trip because we knew the back of the SUV would be too full for the dog, and there would be 2 kids in the back seat. It was the perfect solution. It was rather sturdy and yes it was a little difficult to fit in the seat but also that can be remedied by moving the seat back and then putting it back into place, but also, it should be tight to be strong. It was the perfect height for us to put her dog bed on top and she was just blissfully happy the whole time. It was wide enough to accommodate her bed and give her room but still the right size to give plenty of room for the kids' feet next to it. Is definitely one of my better road trip purchases. You'd be surprised how much you can fit in it we've put in 4 cases of seltzer that are long and narrow, plus a large Tupperware of dry food for the dog and all of her toys.

I can't believe how long I fought with hammock covers and car beds that never fit right and were impossible to install. This is such a simple concept that worked like a charm! My dog is about 75 lbs, he loves car rides and took to this quickly. It is literally just a sturdy box that fits between the front seat and back seat to give him more space. I covered it with his favorite car blanket to make it nice and soft. Sometimes he stands on it with his front feet, sometimes he lays down with his head on it... either way he now has all the space he needs to get comfy. And bonus, I have space inside the box for treats, waste bags, toys, a spare leash, and even a towel.My only tiny complaint is that it is shorter than the seat so there is a little bump, but that doesn't seem to bother my dog. You can even try to even it out with blankets. I also think having a handle on the side would be helpful for getting it in and out. You may need to adjust the front seat a little to get the fit right but it was so easy. Wish I had discovered this years ago!
