Excellent book on TA
This book alongwith the other 2 classical books namely - Technical analysis of financial markets and technical analysis of stock trends, forms the Bible in the field of Technical Analysis. So I don't think there is a need of my review on the contents of this book. Still, a few points on the contents: 🔺In the era of YouTube, where you want everything to be in video format and jam-packed into 30 min videos, this book will take your time and patience to grasp the finer details of TA. Further, you will get the actual knowledge on each aspects of TA rather than the distorted and biased knowledge you get in YouTube and Google. 🔺There is everything about TA in the book a beginner need to know in a lucid manner. At the same time there is always something for the seasoned trader. 🔺The key to success in share market - knowledge and action. This book provides the knowledge component. The 'action' part, i.e. the time/money management and behavioral aspect of the trader is not dealt with in the book. For that you have to find other books, eg trading in the zone etc. 🔺The book starts with how to find the support and resistance zones along with trend lines, then discusses volume and price patterns, then goes on to explore various moving averages and various technical indicators. Then it explains about market structure and ends with using technical analysis to select individual stocks and implementation of various technical analysis tools. Now coming to the physical aspects of the book, you may keep the following in your mind: 🔺This is a genuine copy for India edition by MGH. 🔺The book is Paperbound and not Hardcover copy, may be to keep the price tag low. 🔺The binding is of good quality but don't expect the quality of spine binding you get in case of Hardbound copy. 🔺Paper quality is of medium quality, where the reverse side print can be seen. See the attached photos. 🔺The printing is crisp and graphs are good. However, sometimes you would wish the paper quality to be a bit better. At the current price tag, this book is value for money, infact a very good buy.

Great manual worth multiple re-reads
I screen with KST settings and validate with it picks found through other techniques. Great results, but your own homework, fundamental and other technicals, is paramount in general.

Quality of the book is very bad, but content is good
I wouldn’t buy this book again from the same publisher and would rather looks for other publishers. As you can see from photos, the paper is very thin and you can see the text from opposite side of the page. It is also glued very bad, one page already out even if I read the book just for two days. On the other side, the content is really amazing, all you need to know about foundation of technical analysis is there. But, reading is not easy going due to used vocabulary. Overall, quality is bad and content is amazing.

Straight to the Point and artistic narration of Technical analysis...
This Book is the Geetha of Technical Analysis. Read many books on the TA by different authors, but never felt this level of pleasure reading one like this. Mr. Pring didn't want to complicate the subject rather simplified it in a manner that a novice or beginner finds it damn cool and easy to ace the Technical analysis. Generally, it is easy make things complex rather than simple. Mr. Pring excelled the art of simplicity. My recommendations about approaching the book. 1. Start from Page 1. Because, he dealt the topics in a sequential manner. You get best by following the order. Except for topics like and RS and Industry rotation that can be read independently. 2. Pay close attention to the Chart examples outlined in the book. They're priceless. 3. Re-read the concepts until u feel they're well digested. Don't anxiously move to further chapters unless the past ones are clearer. 4. Apply the concepts in real world in charting platforms. Once again, for me this book is one delicious meal!
