Car Seat Alarm - Never Leave Your Child Behind With The iRemind Notification System

This product did not work. While it initially did pair with our phones and did send the alert text when we tested it, it has not reliably worked since. The app always says "Baby seat not found" even when it is next to the seat. If it does not work every time, it defeats the whole purpose of having this product. For $100 I would expect a better product. I am returning this.

Unreliable, unfortunately. And that is not the review you want to have for a child safety device, God forbid you'll ever need it. Likely safer to be without it rather than coming to have a false sense of security that it is working. I hope for better iterations in the future, because this is something all car seats should have. Unfortunately I had two issues-- one was that the phone didn't recognize the seat monitor and two was that the seat pad came disconnected from the wireless hub. There were no visual or audio cues that either of those things had happened, so it would just silently stop working. I actually only got it to work correctly once, when I first got it and was testing it out. Then one of the above issues would happen and the vast majority of time I was using it, it probably wasn't working at all.

This item does not work well. 75%of the time, the alarm wouldn't go off. The only time I could really make it work was when I had the app open and trying to test its range. Beyond that it just didn't work. I returned it.

Bad product

If your concern is child safety, I would not recommend relying on this product - it's a great idea, but it constantly disconnects. The fact that it is unreliable means I will not use it for my child's safety.

I never bought this item but was just discussing it with a friend since many incidents have been reported lately. They all seem to say they never thought it would happen to them or they never thought they would forget baby was in the car. I don't think someone who assumes they will never have this issue will pay $100 for the product. I do think the idea is great but accessibility and affordability are key.
