Sudoku Ball: Detective - Nintendo DS

I'm a big sudoku fan, so I was really excited for this game. However, that was dampened by the fact that the UI was just terrible. In addition to the handwriting recognition being off, I found that I couldn't even place numbers on puzzle squares - a pretty standard feature in other DS sudoku games. In addition, buttons and entries felt a little substandard, just enough to bother me as I played. While the game is fun to get involved with and I enjoy the storyline, and the game is probably good for brushing up on the speed of sudoku skills, for actually sitting down and solving a hard puzzle, I prefer something like Brain Age or the like.

I had purchased this because I like Soduko, and a mystery. There is only ONE mystery story line, BUT the soduko puzzles were fun. After I finished the mystery it was boring. There are more Soduko Ball's to solve, but it's not as interesting as with the story. Will probably send it back into Amazon for a credit towards another game.

This game definately helped me refind my Sudoku skills, but I was expecting more. Although I have only played the story mode. But the story mode was slow and got pretty repetitious. But overall it was an okay game, just not as good as I hoped it would be.

I love the game sudoku so this was perfect. This is a mystery game of sudoku you play the game to solve the mystery

This game is very good for people who love Sudoku!!The only draw back is that every single thing you do in the storyline game is Sudoku.I like the ball that gives different sides to the game.

This is worth every penny f you like Sudoku. Apart from the story line after your finished, you can play regular sudoku ball. For a Sudoku fan, and adult I love this game. Many hours of pleasure.
