Great Fun!
It ain't Pokemon but it is still fun with plenty of things to do. A little too repetative at times but coming from the frst game, that is to be expected. I will continue to enjoy this game as I have only started it recently.

If you liked the first game don't get it.
If you liked the first game don't get this one. This does not even begin to compare to the original. It will be a let down from start to finish especially at the finish when you find you get soft locked in gauntlets with too much recycling that you can't save in because unskippable battles have enemies that spawn in with out a hit box, at random. So you must lose hours of progress to start over not knowing whether you'll get another glitch or if it's worth grinding up levels and collectables a second or in my case even third time. I would actually have to self sacrifice progress to leave the labryinth after getting an item I didn't want to lose just so I could save every ten floors. Not to mention that a very small part of the game is only accessible on hard mode and once agent the main battle is not with the enemies but the glitch which can spawn in walls in a randomised maze which confine you to an inescapable enclosure. Which is a nother soft lock in a flaming side quest heavy spot you can't save in, so more multiple hour sinks into a the that stops being fun once it's been complete once. I did have good times but none of them were on the underdeveloped pikmin-esque real time strategy minigame that's required to complete Evemore and some plot. I don't miss the game, which stopped shy of 100%ing last night because the road to grinding would be too unpredictable thanks to the glitch and the fact that the solusseum slog is seemingly unending like the swift solutions quests. It's the only thing left and and after an A rank on 14, didn't care to see 15 or go back for an S because it just seemed played out. I spent the whole game waiting for it to get good and just got screwed over so many times by I perfect randomisation that I'm sick of all of it by the end.*I took that picture to prove I'd finished the hundred floor gauntlet. Only to find the final boss was invulnerable and allllllllllll of my effort to get to that point was in vain I only have my self to thank that I popped out to save on the 90th floor and went back through those 10 at a pace then took my time with the last 10 only problem being that it glitched out at 88, so on the third time through I didn't care about exploring or fighting or collecting anything and the way that software treated me had me feeling like gaming (as a concept/ hobby/ passion etc) was a joke. I felt like I was dumb for pouring litteraly hundreds hours of work in to something that is only virtual and like taking pleasure from defeating or amassing intangible things was foolishness. I know the concept is supposed to be "fun" as I was undeniably having until the game repeatedly threw it back in my face and made me turn it off and lose everything. I feel like this review should be on all the console's version of this software, because I looked it up and it's universal. Despite the fact they made an ultimate version with all DLC the software is still bugged out beyond all reckoning. I thought the constant lag was bad enough. Or the fact that in a party of 6 in a world ruled by animal people all 6 are white humans. I also think it's wrong to have 4 party members by the first dungeon. They should sprinkle them in throughout the story and actually be a surprise when they join. I don't wish I never I bought this game I just wish it worked and actually strived to make sense rather than borrow from too many concepts and execute them poorly. The first one was a masterpiece and it's a crying shame that something like this has to tarnish the franchise. Not to mention that our of the 2 worlds for the games name sake the other only appears as cutscenes that act as a bread at the beginning and end of a main plot sandwich. The person from over there isn't even the main character it's a really shoddy hommage to the first and carries over nothing but lore and art style. Having the same name as the first is a sham.
