Crash Anniversary Edition

Whether one likes the album or not is irrelevant. I'm simply reviewing the vinyl and quality of it.According to many articles and audiophiles, Crash was never properly mastered, even digitally. The vinyl (double 180 gram gatefold with full lyric/photo booklet) has been remastered from the original master tapes. With other remastered albums sometimes you notice a difference, sometimes not. With Crash, it was like hearing the album for the first time! The depth and audio quality are incredible and this is easily one of the best sounding albums in my entire collection. The sound detail, warmth, and dynamics are beyond any digital version of this album.If you sort of liked the album back in the day, give it another chance in this format, it may convert you.

One of the best sounding records I own (and that’s currently just shy of 700). It was pretty exciting to listen to this album for the first time on vinyl after hearing it on CD starting in ‘96 and later Spotify, literally, hundreds of times (conservatively... hundreds of times). Brilliant work on this pressing. I wish they’d redo UTTAD and R2T or issue BTCS with a similar process.You know sometimes when you buy something on vinyl and it doesn’t sound fantastic and it feels like you got duped into purchasing record by a band trying to cash in on the resurgence of vinyl? This is not that. This is something special for fans and collectors alike.

This album will always have a special place for me, and it has never sounded better. Very well made, no skips. The best good mood music—perfect for a lazy summer afternoon and big glass of wine. Definitely will be looking for more DMB on vinyl.

If you are on the fence about buying this on vinyl then think no more.The sound quality is simply amazing, the vinyls are heavy-weigh 180 gram pressings that are super flat, clean and glossy,the gate-fold jacket is great, the record sleeves are rice paper lined to protect the records,and it includes an eight page booklet.Seems a little pricey at first, but once you have it you will NOT think so any more. :)Definitely meant to be heard on vinyl (sooooo much warmer that digital). BUY IT NOW!!!

An absolutely wonderful LP and I echo the positive reviews and comments I read here before I bought the album.I was somewhat skeptical about this being an all-analog recording. But after listening I can hear the depth and space and texture I find missing in digitally recorded/mastered/cut records and CDs. At least if there was some digital in the chain it was done masterfully.Highly recommended.

This is a phenomenal remaster. I did some A/B with the CD that I purchased in 1996 and have listened to literally hundreds of times and there is no comparison. This is how it should have been done from the beginning!

Fast shipping and a awesome sounding perfect record. UTTAD Is also on its way to me .I ordered that from another seller for about the same price . These 1st 2 lp’s are going up in price so I would suggest getting off the fence if your thinking about buying this .

O material que vem com esse lançamento é muito caprichado, a capa gatefold, o encarte com o livreto, tudo.E mais importante: o som desse vinil é uma coisa impressionante! Não tem um chiado sequer e achei a qualidade sonora absurda, talvez o melhor que tenho.Vale muito a pena!

in occasione dei 20 anni dal'uscita del cd finalmente per la prima volta viene stampato il disco in doppio vinile, ottima qualità audio.forse la copertina e il booklet meritavano una qualità grafica migliore, il voucher allegato per scaricare gli mp3 al momento non funziona. comunque in generale un ottima stampa. consigliato a tutti i fan della dmb

A qualidade do material apresentado é fabulosa.O som extremamente bem tratado brilha nos auto-falantes.Quanto a apresentação, encarte fora do padrão, com todas as letras em ótimo tamanho de fonte (livro, não página única), com muitas fotos que não haviam no encarte do CD que tenho.Simplesmente fabuloso.

Sounds great! I'm not sure if it's the remastering or just the fact it is on vinyl, but this edition exceeds the original, most notably in the detail. I've listened to the CD hundreds (thousands?) of times with a high end system but so many brand new sounds are revealed on the remaster vinyl. If you are like me and DMB Crash has been one of your top albums that never gets old, it is worth rebuying again on vinyl. It will be even more satisfying.As usual, no issues with shipping and delivery from Amazon, almost always well ahead of time.
