Great Harness! (Even for Cats)
I was looking for harnesses for my 2 crazy kittens that have a ton of energy (we play with them for ages 'til they're panting--yes they pant like dogs, it's weird--but 20 minutes later they're back up and going crazy again). This dual-closure system is amazing--1. The clip on this one is really easy to manage (can easily open it w/ 2 fingers), but I don't have to worry about the security of it at all because the rings on either side mean there's no way it'll come undone when the leash is attached.2. The velcro (right under the dog bone logo) makes it very easy to adjust the fit so it's perfectly secure and comfortable.All-in-all, I can get one of these securely fastened on one of the cats in seconds, taking a lot of the stress out of the process of leash-training!By the way, if you are getting this for a cat, you probably want a size small. My kittens are now 10 months and around 10 lbs, so getting close to adult proportions, but they still look a lot smaller than a lot of friends' cats, so I wasn't sure whether to get a S or XS, and in my first order I got one of each. Well, even the kitten that's slightly smaller was bursting out of the XS--I could get the clip fastened, but the velcro barely reached. Meanwhile, the S is perfectly snug and has plenty of room to grow. Finally, I remember some other reviewers wishing the company had provided girth measurements, and since I have 2 sizes, I figured I'd try to provide some unofficially (to clarify, this is the measurement about 1-2" behind your pet's armpits)XS: with all velcro completely overlapping is about 13.5" but can probably go up or down by .5-.75" (there are 1.5" of velcro)S: with all velcro completely overlapping is about 15" but can go up or down about 1" (there are 2" of velcro)

Too Big
First off let me say that this harness is just beautiful and functional! Unfortunately, the sizing chart as not true to size and resulted in the harness being too big for my dog. I am in the process of returning it.If this fits your dog, you will be incredibly happy with it, it looks like it will just hug the dog with comfort. The harness in very well made and the clasp is at or slightly below the shoulder blades on most dogs, including longer bodies (this excludes Dachshunds, they have harnesses for that breed). For small dog owners out there... the small will fit a standard Scottish or a small/med King Charles Cavalier. The picture shows a Yorkie, don't let that fool you. The XSmall may fit a standard Yorkie, but it will be too big for a miniature and a tea cup can use the leg holes for agility.I really wish it worked, as it's one of the most beautiful harnesses I have seen.

Great Fit for Mini Dachshund
This harness is light weight and SO east to put on my mini dachshund. Great for the hot summer months. Came quickly and was just as described in ad. Very pleased with the quality on this harness.

Size small fits well for my athletic 11lbs cat.
Fits my 11lbs athletic orange tabby cat well, velcro has to be at the tightest setting for it to be secure because he is on the slim side. However the neck opening is large enough that he can pull pack on the leash (if leash is taunt) and wiggle himself out backward if he really wanted to. Works great if you are trying to hold back your cat, if he is walking in front of you.Nevertheless it looks really comfortable and safe for the cat's neck, almost acting as a "thunder vest" to keep the cat calmer. We only use it on our first floor patio, to prevent him from dashing into the street or parking lot.The red vest (size S) is well made and the buckle system prevents it coming undone. I have tried other cat leash system (straps) and it seems like my cats wrangle out of those even more since they can pick at the straps with their paws/teeth. I plan to buy a second vest (XS) for my smaller cat, for travel.

Great harness!
These are terrific harnesses. I always use body harnesses on this dog as she's a pro at twisting out of all collars & regular harnesses. I can't claim that she couldn't twist out of this one however, as she was frightened by a boy on a skateboard & did her little twist & run, but it wasn't as easy for her as the regular harnesses. I always carry little training treats & say treat when she does this & she comes back. Don't judge me! LOL My only complaint would be on the thickness of the leash attachment rings. They are pretty close to being too thick to link the leashes to, but so far I've managed to attach them. I just wish they were a bit thinner. I have these in the red, & in the purple. Great colors!!!

Fast and easy to use
Easy to put on and easy to take it off. My doggie has trouble standing still when she knows that it's time to go walking. This simple harness is just the thing for a dog that is impatient. I can put it on her in just a matter of seconds.

Best dog vest!
Love, love, love these vests! I can only find them at Walmart now (for $9.97) because Amazon hasn't had them in stock for months. Both of our dogs wear these: one weighs 16 lbs., and the other weighs 20 lbs. They are Shih-Tzu mixes and wear a size medium. I've never had these break, but one of our pups managed to wiggle out of his vest while I was walking him. I've thrown these in the washing machine, too and that cleans the vest up really well. Vests do get rather grimy; I recommend a weekly wash. After about 2 years I finally replaced the first vest I ever bought as it started getting holes and had dirt stains that I could no longer launder out. Overall, a great vest, great price, extremely easy to put on and much easier on your pups back.

We love this product
We love this product. I have had this product for months. The Velcro is still holding like new even with a little dog hair on the receiving side. My dog loves this too. No more pulling around his neck. He has become more perky and we take longer walks. He is aggressive at 10.4 lbs and has bitten three times nipped but still a bite. This is very dangerous. Number 1, I live in an apartment complex and I can get tossed and 2, he will have to be quarantined for two weeks if he breaks the skin. Although he is well behaved, good natured and loving with me and my friends, he is very territorial especially at the elevator and where people are coming and going. Besides giving me ultimate control, this vest also provides warmth on chilly/cold days.
