Haven EX 82-inch Solid Wood TV Stand/TV Console/Media Console for Flat Screen TVs to 90-inch (Black on Ash)

This is an extremely well-made stand and cabinet. Very sturdy construction and attractive wood. I spent a lot of time looking for a stand that could accommodate our new screen, plus a set of high end audio components. This stand filled the bill quite well. it is beautiful and almost perfectly matches the rosewood finish of our Legacy Audio Aeris speakers. It accommodates our new LG 77-inch screen very well. Its fittings are dark and sufficiently neutral that the cabinet can fit either a traditional or modern decor. All back panels are removable for easy set up, and are ventilated for good equipment ventilation. measurements on the listing proved to be accurate. It was shipped safe and sound to the west coast fully assembled, requiring virtually no set up labor other than the equipment itself. The casters are nicely recessed, but also functional across carpet.20161202 Update: Just to clarify, I actually bought the rose on cherry, NOT the espresso on cherry. Stunning still. It is a wonderful cabinet. It currently houses both audio and video components, and our LG77-inch OLED screen sits on top. Although our carpet is dense, it remains moveable. Just barely. ;-) Finish has held up well, and it looks great next to our Legacy Aeris speakers ion rosewood.

This is the best TV stand I've ever bought. It's solidly built and you don't have to assemble it. It's heavy, which is an indication of the quality, but be warned that the delivery contract just says they have to put it inside your house. You may need to move it yourself to where you want it.Before I bought it I couldn't tell from the pictures, but there are a number of well placed holes to pass wires from one section to another to keep things neat. The cabinet is thoughtfully ventilated.Customer service has been great. Two of the plastic clips to hold the glass in the doors snapped when installing. The owner quickly responded saying they could be reattached, but he said 4 clips were going out in the mail. I also asked about the military discount I read about on their website AFTER I had already received it. He sent me a check for a 5% refund!

The best piece of furniture I own. Solid construction. Looks great, even from the back. Has all the holes to run your cables and well vents to allow heat to escape. Rolls forward easily to access back and clean under.

I recently purchased the Black on Ash version of this media console and WOW, what a nice unit! It's always hard to purchase furniture sight unseen, but in this instance, I had nothing to worry about. Standout Designs really put together a winning console with the Haven EX model. I was initially drawn to this unit after seeking something that would be large enough to house my Klipsch RC-64 ii Center speaker. Not only did this house it comfortably, but there's plenty of room to spare! I also absolutely love the cable management system as it allowed me to save valuable wall space and give things a very tidy look. Likewise, getting to the back of the console to make changes to my gear is SO easy now. In my old media console, I had to use "moving men" in order to get the console to move (and even then it was chore given the weight of the items I was using). But thanks to the hidden wheels on the bottom, I can easily get back there, make my changes, and move it back to the exact same spot it was in.To briefly touch upon the quality materials used, I couldn't be happier with the overall sturdiness of the console. It weighs about 175 lbs, but it is a very evenly distributed weight that is only aided by the feet and wheels it sits on. The drawers are also a nice touch because they allow you to configure it based on your needs. Got a bunch of game controllers or remotes? No problem. Want to use it for DVDs or Blu-ray? They've got you covered as well. In fact, if you visit their website, they actually list how many of each type of media you can comfortably store there, which is a nice touch.Finally, let's talk about looks. I currently have a 65" TV sitting on top of this bad boy with plans to later put an 88" there, but I have to say that even with all the extra space; this thing looks great in my basement. Most of my gear has a black or matte finish, so getting the Black on Ash version was a no-brainer for me. Given how many different color choices there are, it's hard to believe that you couldn't find something to be happy with. To finish up, I really love this unit and I honestly can't think of a much that it doesn't have. I actually opted to install 2 of their fan kits to keep my console exhausting the hot air and I have to say that even those are high-quality fans that are truly whisper quiet and only come on when necessary. HIGHLY recommended!

I am always a little leery of ordering something sight unseen on the internet. (Especially when there is a lot of money involved) But, based on reviews both here and on other websites, I decided to take a chance. From the moment I ordered the wood samples to the day that my new console arrived, I received the best customer service that I have received in a long time. I had a few questions and Alan responded via e-mail very quickly and answered all of my questions. My wife used to work for a very high end custom cabinet maker and she is naturally critical of any furniture that we purchase. (especially cabinets) I placed the order on Friday and by Tuesday at lunch, the new console was delivered to my house. Once I got everything set up and my wife inspected the console, she was EXTREMELY impressed with both the form and function of the unit! This console has exceeded both of our expectations and if you have any reservations about ordering one... you shouldn't. Standout Designs is a great company to do business with and I highly recommend them to anyone! The only issue is that my 42 inch TV looks really small on top of the console. I guess I am going to have to go TV shopping now.... shucks.... :)
