I make bread weekly for my family. Sometimes 4 loaves, but 2 is a minimum. I usually am making other things at the same time as well and more than not need the bowls the dough was sitting in. so I needed something to hold my dough while it was rising. I saw these and watched the video and figured why not. I was pleasantly surprised. They work wonderfully. I use the cloth in the bowl, dust it with flour, and use another cover to cover the top while it's rising. It never sticks and a 2 loaf batch of bread fits in one bowl. You can use the bowls without the cloth and just use the cloth to cover the bread if you desire but I like the cloth inside. They are easy to clean. These are a huge part of my weekly cooking. I am very pleased with the product. I would recommend it. They work for a variety of cooking needs besides making bread.

I mean, it’s a bread proofing basket, and that’s exactly what it accomplishes. SIL bought it, said it worked, so I bought it, too. Feels like good quality, and great for proofing if you’re making sourdough (what I use it for thus far). Recommend it.

It's very functional and I have no problem with the use. However first inspection had me trim out some edges with sharp points.Anothw point that led to one star reduction was that it didn't come with the plastic bag covering to use while proofing the dough in the fridge. I was hopping that it would have that.

Basket is made with natural reed and cloth materials. It works great for cold proofing sourdough bread dough in the fridge. I wish there was a plastic cover but cling free or Saran wrap works just fine. Anyway, it works fine and I highly recommend you get the kit. Btw, it came with a lame cutter too.
