Use these 2x per week for my inground pool. They have proven reliable when stock is fresh (check for expiration date). I compare results with by hand chemical products and the results are valid and reliable. Makes pool maintenance an easier and less time-consuming task.

These work well they help me to know that my pool is right on point. I have a small pool. I throw a little cheap bleach in overnight "Recommended from the pool store." check itwith these strips in the morning and it's always good to go and then I'm assured that I'm doing the right thing

My wife and I purchased a home with a pool for the first time in our "over 50" retired life. I realized the challenge of keeping all the chemicalsin balance the first day we took possession of the house. After doing much research online and taking to our neighbors, who all own pools, we settled on this testing avenue short of buying a meter type. We test our pool everyday with these super easy to use test sticks and have been able to successfully keep our chemical balance pretty darn close to taking a sample to the local pool and spa shop. As a matter of fact, we took a sample in late last week after receiving over 4 inches of rain in half a day and received a big compliment from the pool folks. They wanted to know why we were so successful at keeping our pool in balance after such a rain and being so new to this operation. Showed them one of my test sticks and said we do this everyday and have quickly learned to act according to the test results. They were impressed and we spent and spend very little money on pool maintenance. This "Smart Test" works!

These are in no way a way test strip! I was expecting a strip that had 4 tiny pads on them, instead these strips have three pads on them and you cannot test for four things with three pads you would need 4. Also if you are looking for exact readings, do not get this! You could buy 4 different test strip kits or purchase a kit that comes with bottles and chemicals for a more precise reading!I bought these thinking ok it's for a kiddie pool, which is an 8' round 3' height little pool that I hooked a pump up to so the water would stay sanitary and because I don't feel like having to fill it up every time she wants to go into it! These strips are ok but as for the color guide on the back of the bottle I think it is terrible because I had a color come up that was not on that guide! These should come with a more detailed guide of the colors and what it is! I knew I should have trusted my instincts in why these were so cheap!I gave this a three star review because yes they do work, and yes they come in a nicely sealed up little container and yes you can test for three different things, but these are NOT 4 way test strips, These have a terrible color guide and these cannot help you determine the true amounts of PH, Bromine, Alkalinity, and Chlorine!
