Does nothing,gives no support at all,might as well cut the toes off a sock it would have the same effect

At first I thought that I bought a size too big because it initially felt like wearing a sock, but Boy did it help when my ankle was acting up. And, as a lovely bonus, when my plantar fasciitis flared in a whole new way it helped for that too! The pain was gone in a few hours just from wearing this sleeve. It's a soft and comfortable knit that has a little bulk to it. I have had issues with finding an ankle brace forever, none have ever fit well and usually make my toes feel like they are going to explode. According to the chart I should have a medium but I purchased a large and it's perfect for me.; I wear a womens size 8 in the US or a 40. I was looking for a light brace and it suits my needs, so if you want high compression go for your correct size on their chart.

I bought a pair of boots that fit me well everywhere except the heel, which is too wide. A common problem for me. I went looking for something that would take up room just in the heel and found these. Well made, will not unravel (previously I had just cut the toes off an old pair of socks), and not hot (unlike the neoprene ankle braces that are available). Can't comment on any properties of the "silver", but works great for what I needed.

Good quality as expected. Fits well. Some benefit derived by wearing it.Comfortable and smooth fit under socks.
