It is worth buying, but you will end up modifying the piece.
I first put it on my bike and went for a drive and then I came to a hill and had to give my bike max throttle and the piece slipped and ripped my spokes off the rim.So after modifying the piece and replacing the spokes. It works perfect. Awesome actually.

Good design
When installed properly it stays put. does not slip on hub. It does not hit or put stopping pressure on the spokes.I mounted it pushed back to see if it moved forward under load and it does not budge . I would request for them to make a true 1.0 inch adapter bushing for mountain bikes such as roadmaster. I used this on a trek 820 which is actually well over 1.0 inches and it fits nice and tight. On a true 1.0 inch hub like a roadmaster the sprocket adapter is actually oversize and would not clamp completely around the wheel axle housing. P.S. If you are using the motor kit 44 tooth sprocket you have to drill 3 holes to line up with this adapter. Otherwise buy a multi-hole sprocket and you will have no problems.

Worked eventually
I used this on a mountain bike with non standard hubs. I was able to grind out the adapter insert until it fit my slightly oversized hub. The bolts that hold the drive sprocket kept backing out even with red locktight. after 3 weeks of tightening the bolts every 10 minutes of operation they finally stopped backing out. So for now the bike is easily rideable. I do recommend this product as I was able to adapt it to my non-easy bike with little effort and the bolts eventually stayed torqued in. Only caution is to check the bolts very often as they didn't stay in during break in even with locktight.

Stick to your stock rag joint
Don't even bother with this. I went with this after buying a cheap rag joint setup recently and the plates and hardware stripping. Low and behold the hole was either tapped improperly or very poor quality because I wasn't even torquing the bolt from the sprocket into the hole and just tightening it and it stripped out.The 1" shim isn't actually 1" it's around 1.25" which is too much, my hub is 1.009 inches and could of managed with an actual true 1" shim for the adapter. Don't waste your money, stick with the stock rag joint.

Don't waste your time or money
Take my advise, buy from a different seller. Thus piece will take so much modification to make work it's not even worth it. The size for the rim axle is not near any standard size bikes use. Even with the adapter they provide it does not grip the wheel at all. Complete waste of money and time. Do yourself a favor and do more research don't make the same mistake as me.
