Beautiful
For the first time I have read in detail about this great King, Bharat. I have learnt a lot not just about him but his parents and the rest of the family from the novel.

One of the best Book ๐
This is not just a book, we can learn a lot from this book. Mainly how did our nation got the name "Bharat" apart from that a reader can enjoy so many things that won't dull u while reading. This is not just a story but you can feel watching a movie or web series having 40 episodes which includes everything like movie such as love, romance, dhoka, realisation, pathetic, acceptance, some detailed rituals, great action, black magic, divinity, humanity and so many things. This book is a mixture of all things which we want in a movie to entertain. And the authors effort to make this book is admirable and how he narrates every character is amazing. So i enjoyed a lot while reading. A special thanks to Author.... I am not a reader but your article grabbed my attention. Hope someone make a movie on this article. Highly recommended book go for it.....

The Fascinating story of Shakuntala and her son who rose to be a king.
In Bharat: The Man Who Built a Nation Vineet Aggarwal has pulled of a difficult trick of staying faithful to an original puranic narrative while infusing it with fresh perspective and unique storytelling of his own. The story of Bharat , the son of Dushyant and Shakuntala who eventually becomes a leader for an entire nation is known to most of us. Yet while reading the book the author does manage to make the reader go on the journey first with Shakuntala and her travails while carrying Bharat and then with the prince Bharat himself. The philosophical discussions between Rishis like Vishwamitra and Vasistha form a sub-narrative that is fascinating in its own right and yet they don't come in the way of the pacing of the story. The character of Bharat traces a fascinating arc as he goes from somewhat of a careless, pampered prince to a gentle lover dealing with a devasating loss and then to a king that makes an entire nation rally behind him. Thankfully, unlike a lot of puranic stories out there, the dialogues are crisp and colloquial rather than preachy and verbose. The various conflicts between the main characters are fairly well defined and as the author has managed all of this under 270 odd pages, it makes for very satisfying read indeed. In a year where I did read a fair number of books in this genre. Bharat still remains one of the best book of 2017 for me. Take a bow !!

It's a feast to the eyes and to the mind, for the readers.
Woah, what an incredible read and iam mighty impressed with the way the author has classified and explained each and every character and their role play in the life of Sarwadaman. This book gives you major takeaways on the physical and political existence of Nabhivarsh i.e. as to how the now states and cities and internal and external Indian boundaries were placed and known by what names. Also, Dr. Vineet has this fantastic way of putting and fitting just the right adjectives and vocabulary into any given situation/ scene that is happening while you read the story that you actually go back and reverse travel in time to self imagine what you're reading at that particular moment.Iam so glad that I came across your books and gave them a read, for now I am acquainted with such knowledge abundance.Hoping to see and read more of your future coming books, Doc.Just a small quote from Vishwamitra, that i have now registered in my mind for forever which goes like-- Digh balam Shastra balam, Brahma Tejo Sarvocch Balam..Good luck Dr. Vineet and the entire team for all your future projects ๐๐Regards,Your ardent reader

A must read!
Our country is named after Raja Bharat but sadly he is one of the lesser known kings. Everyone must read this book as the author has done a phenomenal job in conveying the story of this great king in a very lucid manner. The author has got great story telling and writing skills! I would highly encourage the people to give it a read.
