I like everything about this product. The ability to use it as a cane and to have a comfortable easy to use seat in either the single pole style or the tripod style is your choice. It is great.

I bought this for vacation, it broke on the first day. The bottom of the cane came of along with some plastic piece.

I am 86 and weigh 270. I found that this seat works, is well made, but not for one like me. If I were younger and had good balance, it would get a 5 star rating. For me, it doesn't have enough stability. However, I believe it would be perfect for younger and lighter users.

There is much to like about this cane/stool. It is very sturdily made. The presentation and boxing is first-rate and the idea behind it is very clever. However ... the instructions are written in a language that only somewhat resembles English, so assembly the first time takes a while. As a walking stick it is too short for an average-sized guy and has no way to make it taller or shorter. And lastly, when you do manage to get the seat assembled, it is extremely uncomfortable, just not designed for the sort of bottom I come equipped with. For a shorter person with a well-padded posterior, this may be ideal. Back to the drawing board!
