OMG what an amazing light. Very bright. Easy to install. Easy adjustments. Two things should be improved.First one is that manufacturer should attached a wire.Second one is that the manual. There is nothing about adjustments of time and light sensitivity.Overall perfect. I can in 100 percent recommend to everyone who looking for a high quality spotlight.

A very well made 4k cool white security light.Simple to install, very easy to see and adjust the light on / off timer and adjustment of the detection sensitivity.Directional adjustments of both the floodlight and detector are easily carried out.

When it arrived, the bottom sensor was detached - the delivery guy didn't handle it well and there wasn't enough packing material inside the box to keep it secure. I was able to attach the sensor back. Instructions weren't too great either for a DIY person. However, the light itself is brilliant. The sensor picks up movement from 7 to 8 metres and brights up my whole driveway extremely well. Very pleased with the end result.

This is a good and expensive piece of engineering but the sensor doesn’t detect my car when I reverse or drive onto the driveway. It’s ok at detecting people but not cars so no good.

Only dislike about light was price gives off a great light though time will tell if it was worth the investment signs good so far..

Erratic performance after four months, three of them summer with dry use. switches on without movement and does not switch off again....customer service is in Germany. Luckily Amazon gave me refund even outside of returns deadline....

I bought this despite being very expensive, because I've had good experience with other Steinel lights. The light itself seems robust and has good illumination, although I've not had it long, so can't comment on reliability. However, the wall bracket is poorly designed and not fit for purpose. If fitting over a cable directly behind the bracket (i.e. coming straight through a wall), there are a couple of knock-out mouldings for the cable to run through and supplied rubber grommets to make it weather resistant. However, if the cable comes from below (i.e. along the wall, and there is no option for fitting a cable from the side), you have to bodge a hole in the bottom of the cable box for the cable to fit into. Once the wall bracket is fitted, the light and cable box are supposed to simply slot over the wall bracket and secure with a screw. However, the screw goes through a flimsy plastic tab that is easily snapped off (as happened to me) and then there is nothing to stop the light simply falling off the wall bracket. Again, I had to bodge this by driving a couple of self-tapping screws through the side of the cable box to stop the light falling off the wall. Finally with the light fitted, it is so close to the wall that it can't be angled along the wall (e.g. to illuminate a doorway) and can only point out away from the wall. I'm very disappointed and if it wasn't for the major hassle of taking it all down again, I would have asked for a refund.

So hatte ich mir die Ausleuchtung unserer Terrasse stets gewünscht. Taghell und weiß, nicht gelb/orange. Einfache Montage, Dank guter beigefügter Erklärung. Sensor und Verkabelung sind nur für diesen Strahler ausgelegt. Es kann keine SL dh. weitere Lampe (ohne Sensor) mit angesteuert werden.
