This is the first toy my newly adopted kitten played with, and over 2 months later he still plays with it each day. I thought the chirping would be annoying, but I got used to it and it kind of blends into the background now. He loves the light up aspect. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the feathers come out pretty easily (I've had 3 of them and they all are like that). I recommend putting some super glue into the tail hole when you open it, letting it dry before you give it to your cat.

Pathetic toy! Doesn’t light up at all, takes 3 batteries of a very odd size (which are not easy to take in or out, and you need the tiniest Phillips head screwdriver they make to open it) feathers fall out if it’s even touched, has a faint intermittent chirp. My cat looks at me like I’m crazy for giving it to her. Big mistake to have made this purchase. Fortunately, there doesn’t seem to be anymore of them for sale.

This is well put together and cute, but the cat just isn't attracted to it.

My cats love it, and its fun to be able to hear them play when I'm in the other room.
