I always rely on Amazon reviews to guide my purchases, so I wanted to share how impressed we were with these XTAUTO Collapsible Portable LED Camping Lanterns. We purchased these for a big family backyard camping weekend over this past 4th of July, and they exceeded all of our expectations.We live on a large property, and these lanterns were absolutely perfect for family members to safely carry and use while walking around the dark acreage at night. They are incredibly lightweight, making them easy for everyone to hold—not to mention they also work beautifully as a standard flashlight!Where this lantern truly shined, though, was inside our tent. We used it while setting up the interior of our massive Outsunny 10-person tent and getting our portable AC unit positioned. Just one single XTAUTO lantern completely illuminated the entire interior of that huge tent! The bright, even light made night setup incredibly easy.The fact that they are collapsible, waterproof, solar-powered, and double as a flashlight makes them the ultimate utility light. You will not be disappointed with these. These little lights definitely came in handy and Gary Indiana during the 13 days I was without power! I was able to keep them charged in the Sun and using a portable power station. They are versatile with lantern light and a flashlight, both were bright enough to see in the dark 😂. For the price, performance was well above!

We have these in our camper and use them as a flashlight and also as lanterns hanging around our site. They are solar powered rechargeable, bright and so easy to use the different functions on them. They are compact for storing so they don't take up much room. They give off a lot of light for such little lanterns. Would definitely buy again!

I like that these have a lantern and flashlight in one. I bought them for camping because they are rechargable and have a solar option. I haven't tried the solar option so I don't know how will it works. These are a good size and light weight. They seem like a quality item and are easy to use. I will update once I use them a few times.

Nice lightweight bright light for camping or power outage. It recharges with solar or plug into USB port . I tried leaving it on 24 hrs to see how long it lasted and it was only a little dimmer by the end. Did not go out. I did not want to drain the battery completely, as that is bad, so I put it in the window for a few hours and it charged. They have a flashlight on the end too and foldong carrying handle. They are great. Not real heavy duty, but ok for the price.

Bought 4 of these lanterns in January, the ones that don't collapse. One is in the car, one on the bedside table, one in the windowless bathroom in case the lights go out during a shower (happened several times), and one in the TV room. These lanterns have proven reliable through power outages; wind storms; ice storms knocked down poles, and finding small dropped items. The light is bright and they have never failed. I fully charged one recently and left it on to see how long the light lasted; that was 2 1/2 days ago and it is still giving off enough light to find a pair of pants in my dark closet! Incredible for a solar flashlight! These are my go to lights, and highly recommended.

I have a few issues with these lanterns, some of which have already been stated: There is no battery level indicator, so there is no way to tell if they are fully charged, almost completely discharged, or somewhere in the middle (the little light remains red no matter how long you have it plugged in). A couple of mine flicker even when fully charged, and some become dim suddenly, and I have to tap on them to get them to go brighter or stop flickering (must be poor connections inside). And even when fully charged, they are not much better than a night light. I bought mine for when we lose electricity, which seems to happen often where I live. They are OK for that purpose...I wish they were brighter, but they don't all last through the night. Also, they seem to lose power in storage more so than other Li-Ion battery-powered items I own, and you never know when you're going to lose electricity, so you need to keep them charged. On the good side, the solar charging system seems to work well, and they weren't that expensive.

Recharge well and have heaps of use during power outages. Great item. Love having 4 as can leave them in different spots changing and accessible when needed.
