Pic Before I used this product, Pic After I used this productI purchased this for my night crawlers who were thriving using the Frabill bedding that I added water to. I purchased this type of bedding because it was all ready to go, and didn’t require additional water or mixing. However, after adding this bedding, I got a bizzillion little white baby worms. Definitely NOT Nightcrawler’s babies, but some other kind of worm that is white and translucent. Looks like pin worms, or a similar parasite worm. I thought perhaps they were just incredibly young Nightcrawler’s, so I waited three weeks and checked them again. No change. They are definitely NOT Nightcrawlers. I am now going to reorder their old type of bedding, and will have to start over with my Nightcrawlers in fresh bedding, and dump this bedding along these other weird undesired worms. Hopefully they didn’t make my Nightcrawlers sick! I’ve had my Nightcrawler farm for four years without any issues until now. I’m very upset with this product. If I hadn’t used the entire package to replace their old bedding, I would return it. I’m very upset with this product.Update: My large Nightcrawler farm that had Nightcrawler’s that were so large, lively and healthy, to the point they resembled small snakes, were completely wiped out by this product. It killed ALL of them. Left behind was those little white parasite looking worms. Biz-zillion of them.Never again will I ever purchase this product.The bedding that needs distilled water added made my Nightcrawler’s thrive, and it has food already mixed in it. Stick with it if you want to keep your Nightcrawler’s alive.

I get hundreds of crawlers, fresh anytime I want them from my vermiculture garden, but I can't seem to keep them alive overnight in this stuff...

i had 250 worms in my worm crib , i changed over to this worm bedding and it killed every worm in the box? it dried them up to nothing? it said on the box no moisture or food needed for a month. My worms were doing great on the paper type bedding but now they are all dead. You should send me a better bedding and new worms !

Made for happy worms! Until their untimely demise :) The worm bedding was actually really great! We followed the directions, and added our nightcrawlers. About 4 dozen. They did really well. We took them steelhead fishing, for about 2 weeks. Did not have a single death in the lot.. well, until the fish got them, anyway

Great price and keeps my fishing worms happy. Used this in a colored plastic container (worms don't like clear containers because it confuses them when they can see light). It has kept my worms happy and alive for months now. Great purchase.
