Roller Blinds for Windows Light Filtering, Grey Easy to Install Window Shades for Toilet Home Office

I bought two of these. Ordered at the same time and they both showed up at the same time. One had an insert that goes into the free spinning bracket that was not the same as the other one. The other brackets that engage the chain mechanism that raises/lowers the shade were both the same. On the free spinning insert, one shaft had a turned down collar machined into it that allowed it to fit into the bracket and "lock" into place. That one fit, no problems and installed great. The other one did not have the same collar as the first and would not fit into the bracket at all because the shaft diameter was too big. Had I installed it "as-is" the least amount of tension applied to it while raising/lowering the shade would have made the whole assembly fall out. I ended up taking a belt sander and sanding a tapered bevel on the end of the shaft so that it would engage the bracket better. I am disappointed that one came with the correct shaft end and the other one didn't. Other than that, so far, they seem to work well.One trick that might be handy: I did end up rolling the shade on the tube it attaches to the opposite way as it came in order to get it to "hug" the window opening better and block more light around the perimeter. It still functions and looks as it should.

I bought this assuming that "37" wide" means 37" wide and not 35.5" wide but I am here to tell you that it is indeed 25.5" wide which means this does not work. Avoid this total garbage seller like the plague!

Product came with NO INSTALLATIONS DIRECTIONS. No matter which rod end I used, the roller part was immobile, and WOULD NOT MOVE. Also product DID NOT BLOCK ALL LIGHT. When trying to find online instructions all I could find is a shell corporation out of Shanghai, with NO CONTACT INFORMATION OR CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE. When I contacted AMAZON, I spoke to a person whose English skills were only surpassed by her boredom. WILL NOT BUY, NOR RECOMMEND.

I purchased this shade due to bright sun coming thru my bedroom window very early in the morning. I also needed a shade that is of a thermal nature since it will be installed in an upstairs bedroom that gets hot from the morning and afternoon sun. I find this shade to eliminate each problem. AND, as added comments: it is also easy to install and is made with great materials.

Don’t hesitate! There were no reviews when I purchased and I’m glad that I went ahead with my purchase! It’s black out thick, super smooth rolling up and down, and very high quality.

What the .. There are no instructions no way to get them or contact the "merchant". I will try to install but will be returning if its not working properly.

There seemed to be very little tolerance in placing the brackets so it took two of us to do it. But it works fine.

Installation is easy. It does block out light a lot better than a similar one I got from IKEA. Totally worth the price.
