Does exactly what it's supposed to do
The media could not be loaded. As I said in my video this is probably one of the only products on Amazon that actually does what it's supposed to do. For that honestly I'll pay anything because it's so easy to get duped online nowadays. The lid itself is very high quality and thick and I wish I had done an unboxing video because it came very nicely packaged as well, but some people were concerned about the actual size of the lid and I'd like to tell you that it is the absolute perfect size for my wide-mouthed mason jars and performs exactly how it was described. I get a very tight seal.

Perfect Fit!
These fit a wide mouth jar perfectly. The cut out for the grow tube is precisely cut. No problem screwing on the jar ring.

These are awesome
I have two Aerogardens but a small kitchen space and could only set up one. However, with these lids and some wide mouth mason jars I have many more plants growing. I buy a bag of extra sponges. I simply use a small square of aluminum foil to take the place of the paper label and poke a hole in it to insert the sponge into the little basket. I use General Hydroponics powdered fertilizer and distilled water (or RO water). General Hydroponics is much better and much cheaper in the long run. Just mix a teaspoon into a gallon of water.I buy my seeds from Dave's Garden Seeds. He has the best lettuce, arugula, chard, etc. You can use pretty much any seeds in the sponges. After putting two or three seeds into the sponge hole, much the sponge all the way to the bottom of the little basket. It will expand as it absorbs the water and rise to fill the basket. It needs to reach the water level to expand.I put the mason jars into a double paper lunch bag and trim to size. Then I tie the bags to on the top with twine to keep all the light out. This makes for an earthy attractive look that I like. You can write the name of the plant on the bags.I just bought three more lids to put jars in my sunny kitchen window.I see in another review that someone wanted the openings to be a little larger to fit the baskets better. I found that you need to push a little on the baskets and they pop right in to make a snug fit.I hope this review helps. I would not hesitate to buy these.Update: I see cheap copies made in China of this design. Please read reviews carefully. Cheap and flimsy. Stick with made in the USA.

Helpful
I am very new in hydroponic gardening, got my first Aerogarden and without proper knowledge I planted two tomatoes in my small garden. They soon began to take over so I decided to try the Kratky method. I like these lids because I was able to take my existing pod and move it to a jar. The only downside is that the thickness of the lid does not allow it to screw down tightly on my jar. Just be careful when moving it as it could come loose. Also, anyone with a 3D printer could probably make these easily but for those of us without that technology these work.

Kratky Lids
This lids fit perfectly in my large mouth mason jars. My Aerogarden cages fit perfectly into these lids. I am excited to start growing the Kratky way!

It's easier than cutting a hole in a metal lid 🙄
It's easier than trying to cut a hole in a metal lid yourself but it's nothing to brag about. I was thinking that it was going to hold the pod better than the lids that I had simply cut holes in with my scissors but it doesn't.

Almost perfect.
I wanted to try the Kratky method with some of my extra Aerogarden pods. Saw these on Reddit and decided to buy. They are very close to perfect. I wish the opening was the teeniest (like "maybe" a milimeter" wider so the Aerogarden pods set more flush. They are fine but I'd like it to be a slightly lower fit.I do think they are a bit overpriced but hey, they are the only ones of their kind so it's kind of understandable.I will be buying more so obviously that mm and the price doesn't keep me from appreciating them.I currently have two heirloom tomato plants (planned as gifts) and a basil growing using the three that I have in these jars:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0787ZV8BW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_detailsIt's a nice combination, a little pricey but they look good and they work - which is the most important factor. I'm giving them 5 stars because 4 and 1/2 isn't an option. Worth buying if you use Aerogarden pods AND want to do some Kratky growing as well.

A bit expensive
I like the wide mouth lids for placing aerogarden pods in mason jars for kratky; but they were expensive. Next round I bought a less expensive alternative and was very disappointed in the smell I can’t get rid of. Lesson learned. These are expensive, but durable, non smelling, and worth the investment. I’ll need to order more as I can afford them.
