I am giving it 5 stars because they are good mallets, I happen to have bought the wrong ones (not realizing how much larger they were). they will not sound good at all on a lead tenor pan.I did find they can sound really good on other drums though, I will play my djembe and pandeiro with them sometimes

These steel pan sticks are great for the money. They are made of sturdy wood and have a somewhat hard rubber tip. The company is also quick with exchanges.
