Perfect for soup size bread bowls, but disappointed in the fabric of the cover.
These are the perfect size for bread bowls for soup! They fit about 350 grams of dough and they are very full. My only issue is with the covers they come with. I use the covers inside the bannetons and so the coarse fabric is not ideal, the add pictures make it look like soft fabric but it's not. I have other bannetons with very soft covers and I love them. Other than that these are prefect!!

So cute and good quality
It's the beginning of winter all I am dreaming of is soups and stews, fresh bread and bread bowls. And then I found these. Both the baskets and the covers are heavy duty and good quality. Warning: these are SMALL - the listed dimensions are the outside of thick rattan. Perfect size for a bread bowl or even a baked brie and jam type of thing. I'm going to try making some patterns to slip under the cover for the top.Just to clarify (if you didn't know) - these are proofing baskets. The dough is turned upside down onto a stone or sheet and the basket design and shape is the design and shape of the loaf.

Great for making bread bowls!
These are the perfect size bannetons for making bread bowls. The liners fit nicely, and the bannetons are made well.

Very very small
These are decent proofing baskets but they are a lot smaller then I thought the description said. Roll size at best. Haven't used because I am never going to make any bread that small.

Mini bannetons create perfect mini boules of sourdough
I wondered how large these would turn out- I give bread away and was hoping a smaller size would allow me to give more with each batch. It’s bigger than a dinner roll for sure- but I’ll probably end up giving one per member of a family- which in many ways defeats my original purpose.I baked 2 at a time in my oval Dutch oven that was pre-heated to 500 degrees. Lid for n and shut the oven off and let bake for 17 minutes. Lid off and baked at 445 degrees for 6 minutes more.As for cleaning—- same as any other banneton. Good luck!
