Make Your Own Wreaths: For Any Occasion in Any Season

I love this book. I am new to wreath making and I wanted to try and make some for family members, and perhaps if I got good enough, I could sell some. Nancy has done a fabulous job of presenting the step-by-step instructions to make beautiful and unique wreaths. The pictures are colorful and there are many interesting and wonderful ideas for one-of-a-kind wreaths. She also includes her "bow recipe" with detailed pictures and instructions for making the perfect bow. I have made a couple of wreaths so far, and people have commented that they look as if I've been doing it for a long time. Thanks, Nancy, for writing this book and for sharing with us all your tricks of the trade.

Do not let the fact that this is a paper back book scare you away. It is chocked full of useful information and insider advice. It even has helpful online videos and a Facebook page! It is large, ll inches long and 8.5 Wide and is also full of beautiful colorful pages that show everything from the tools she uses to completed project and ideas. She even took the time to show me a good way to set up my working area and why that way works for her!

Just wanted to tell you all that this is by far the greatest book that I've ever purchased to create beautiful wreaths and so much more. The step by step instructions are so helpful and I can tell you that wherever I go this book is with me. I'm so glad that I've purchased this. Truly enjoyable from the beginning to the end. Nancy's clear, concise explanations and directions are so easy to follow. Her tips are so helpful and just reading it gets you inspired to create your own. I read it cover to cover in one hour and flagged many pages for future reference. I even learned more about bow making in Chapter 4 (I have watched her bow making videos again and again). However, Nancy's Bow Recipe was of particular interest to me as I am left-handed. Seeing her illustration was a tremendous help. Beautiful pictures and illustrations are abundant and Nancy's personal touch makes the book even more appealing. Anyone who is just beginning to wreath or has been designing wreaths for years will find this book a helpful resource for years to come. Thank you, Nancy, for this wonderful treasure.

I adore this book, and have it in both the physical and ebook versions. Nancy Alexander is a renowned master in the art of wreath making, and in this book, filled with gorgeous photographs, she gives detailed instructions, guiding the reader through each step of creating beautiful wreaths. Nancy also includes sections on what tools and supplies are needed, how to make fluffy bows, and even a section on Thanksgiving and Christmas wreaths. One can hardly ask for more. I highly recommend this book for novice and experienced wreath makers. It's truly a necessity if you love the look of Nancy's wild and woodsy wreaths and wish to achieve a similar look in your own creations.

There is nothing to dislike about this magazine/book....Step by step instruction in beautiful vivid color photos. Easy to follow....you can't go wrong when Nancy takes a still shot of every material/supply she uses and then shows you how to prepare and use it...great book....I would buy this book or other books by Nancy!!!

The front cover was the wreath I liked. Too bad there wasn't any detail of how to make it. Excellent on vines wreath and how to make a bow.

The indication from the description was that this would be about creating a variety of wreaths. Sadly it turned out to be a variation on a theme i.e. same base with no variety.

I loved the pictures BUT there were no comments on using fresh flowers and water retaining foam

This book has very good advice on color placement and personal touches to enhance wreaths. It wasn't until I read the introduction, that I realized I have watched some of the author's YouTube videos. Fast delivery.

Have learnt a lot most helpful.
