Son loved it when he opened it

We used to have a square framed version of this and I thought it would be a nice gift for the wife.She really likes it and it has a unique circular shape that fits in a small stand, very convenient.It looks very nice on the shelf and is easy to rotate in order to get the sand to move down and create new images. I didn't have to do anything to it, worked just fine out of the box.

I've only had this about two days, but so far it's perfect and I've seen/had no issues. I already had an art piece similar to this one in a different color, but it was much more expensive/hand made/bought from a gallery. There aren't much differences between the two, and I can display them side-by-side and they match up just fine and you really can't tell which one is the "higher end" version.These types of items come with a syringe so you can mess about with air flow; this one comes already adjusted, so you don't have to do anything to it when you take it out of the box. If you DO decide to add or remove air, you have to be very careful because of possible seal popping; so don't go crazy. Less is more in this case, for sure. Since this one was already adjusted and it suits my needs fine for now, I haven't had to add or remove air yet on this piece yet.

This is a very pretty decoration. However, it is not finely crafted. The base is a cheap plastic and mine has 2 noticeable deformations on one side likely from the de-molding process during production. The black ring has a seal that is not completely uniform around the inner edge. From a small distance this is a very beautiful piece. Though it will not stand up to scrutiny at a close distance. I would suggest for a corner, work desk, or as a gift to a child. I would not suggest this as a center-piece or as a gift to an adult.

Christmas gift

Fascinating to watch. After the first few times, though, you may need to slightly turn the disk to keep the sand flowing. It's still nice but a bit frustrating if it doesn't "perform" as intended.

I got this to use with my students and they really enjoy using it for sensory breaks. It is sturdy enough for them to use and compact to store.

It’s not quite a year old and it looks all gummy inside and the sand won’t flow correctly. I bought it for a friend’s birthday and I was just at his house and saw it. I’m so disappointed.
