I can easily fit a Media Player, a few memory cards + a small power bank, pad all with microfiber bags to keep all from bouncing and bumping together and held safely with little chance of any damages.Other uses are for the stated use, a pen/ pencil/ small supply (EDC) every day carry case.Naturally, they're constructed in Asia, on massive assembly line so [you] may get one that slipped through quality control but the Amazon Prime return/ refund policy is useful in that case for these "cases".I appreciate the choices of colors, I depend on that for quick ID to grab the correct one; whichever I need without opening up every single one to choose the one to take for my weekend jaunts -- this is the exact sort of case that I need to assure their durability and to know that they'll last for years without sending more 'n more junk into landfills or garbage dumps, because WE DO NOT NEED to keep filling and abusing our Mother Earth!Durable materials, bright identifiable colors, after reciept, get busy adjusting and forming that enclosure and get the zippers lined up, fill it with whatever will fit, secure with a bit of cloth and you're all set.

This case seems to durable enough for the price. The separate compartments are handy and I do love the red and black color scheme. I’ve had no problems with it so far.

I purchased this item because I wanted some type of organization for my collection of pens, pencils, etc. in my backpack. I was not disappointed.The case is very sturdy with multiple inside slots for pens, pencils, markers. Additionally, I have a 'mini' plastic container of mini stapler, tape, paper punch, staple remover and scissor. This fits in well with all the other items. I also keep inside of it Posit-strips, rubber bands and small ruler.I would purchase this again, if I needed to. It is worth the money for all the organization one gets.

This is very sturdy and durable for traveling. It is not as deep as I thought but it does hold what you need. It has a convenient zip pouch and a place to insert pens or pencils. I second this product even for other things other than school supplies..

Really nice case but zipper gets stuck frequently. Just arrived today and tried it out but the zipper requires some effort to open it and it’s for my young son to use at school. It could be we got one with a faulty zipper and it gets stuck in multiple spots. For example, you can see pin size hole it gets stuck on. Overall, design of case is nice but will need to look for a different case.

Overall this is a great case for my second grader to store their writing, cutting and pasting supplies. I thought it would be big enough to hold all of these items without the need for a second smaller case for what didn't fit. It didn't happen though. His scissors and glue sticks just would quite fit enough to get the zipper closed. I'm still happy with the quality and durability of the product though.
