These joss sticks are currently available at £9.99 for 100 sticks which makes them £2.00 per pack, give or take. To me, that seems quite expensive given that other packs are priced around the £1 mark. Additionally, once lit the sticks don't last as long as some, or even most, of the others that I've tried. What they have going for them, though, is that once they have burnt down, the aroma lasts for a good long time. It's not necessary for the sticks to still be burning to benefit from the noticeable patchouli aroma, a scent that has always been one of my favourites.Overall I am happy with these, they do a good job and definitely improve the scent in a room. Patchouli itself acts as a stress reliever and whilst these will never have the same benefits as expertly applied essential oils, they do have some minor benefits in that respect.At the current price (despite my comments above) I don't think these are unreasonable and I would buy more.

These arrive in a cardboard tray that matches the packaging of the individual boxes. The tray holds 5 boxes, each box holding 15, 8" incense sticks giving you 75 sticks in all. This works out to 13 pence a stick for the £9.99 selling price. They claim each stick burns for "up to" 45 minutes, burn time will be affected by how much of the stick to light, whether they sit in a draft while burning & the type of container you burn them in. I tend to use an enclosed wooden box, this reduces drafts & oxygen supply so helping them to burn slower.I'm not usually a fan of rose scented things, its often sickly sweet & cloying. But these turned out to be quite a natural rose smell, like the dried rose petals often used in Turkish cuisine. There are other earthy spicy notes like cardamom.I find one stick will scent a good sized room quite quickly, & it'll perfume the whole house if doors are left open. Some people may find them overly strong if used in say a small bathroom with the doors & windows closed. The scent will linger for many hours after the stick has burned out.I quite fancy trying their "White Sage" or "Patchouli" next. I notice that they do an assortment box where you can sample a box of each of their different types, this might be a good way for folks to try them all & see what scent they prefer the most.

We had the pack of hand made rose scented incense sticks.These are fair trade, 100% natural, herbal ingredients ethically manufactured and have no nasty chemicalsThese come in a pretty outer pack containing 5 packs of 20 incense sticks.Before we had even opened the outer pack the smell wafted over us, these (rose) incense sticks smell just like we remember our Turkish holidays!I have to admit we had a bit of a moment and absolutely had to light one straight away. Each one lasts about 40 minutes.The funny thing is they smell different when burning to how they do in the pack, not unpleasant but strangely not as good!Like many people we haven’t had a holiday now for a fair while and we would normally go to Turkey at least once a year!These brought back so many happy memories that I would say simply, it was a joy to get them.They burn quite quickly but do fill the whole house with a noticeable long lasting (As long as our air purifier is off) aroma!At the price charged (£9.99) at time of review I would say they are good value for money and very good quality. This pack of incense sticks arrived securely packaged and in perfect condition.The plastic wrap seems unnecessary especially as the description of the sticks stresses their natural properties.I really like joss sticks / incense, and love patchouli so was looking forward to trying these.Sadly they don't quite live up to expectations.There's a generous amount of sticks, 5 packs each containing 20 sticks. However they are quite thin and short. There is a lot of dust or sediment in the each packet.They burn evenly but burn time seems quite short, maybe it's memory playing tricks but i am sure ones from a few years ago lasted much longer. The scent isn't overpowering and is probably about right strength wise.However the scent is rather powdery, and not a true patchouli.Overall they're okay, nothing remarkable and personally I think they are overpriced.Currently priced at just under £16Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.

Very strong aroma when burning, can be at times alittle too strong if in being honest!They also burn really fast, haven't used incense sticks for a few years mind you, but what I do remember, is they would burn really slowly. These ones take about 10mins and there out, but with them being so strong the smell dose linger for a few hours.Overall, there nice they smell amazing, but as said very strong & burn fast, but smell sticks around for a long time after use, you get plenty in the box. So would say you get good value for money 4 stars from me.

I will be purchasing the assortment in this listing because it makes sense to sample each one before deciding your favourite, because you do get a bulk of them in one scent.I am reviewing the Patchouli incense sticks. They are really strong with a pleasant sweet & earthy scent. You can smell it as soon as you walk in the door even after the stick has been out for hours there is still a subtle scent that remains.There are 5 individual packs with 20 sticks in each in plastic packaging. There is a small amount of residue from the sticks in the bag and you can already smell their scent before opening the tube. So, if you do like strong scents this ones for you. I always light incense sticks after cooking and they effectively remove any kind of food smells and this scent I like a lot and I really like the authentic packaging. Great product.
